Model Residence and Spa

My friend and I stayed at Model Residence and Spa for four nights in November, we had very enjoyable time there. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the environment is comfortable and quiet. The pools are amazing with relaxing poolside chairs and beds, friends and lovers will have a wonderful time there. We had the residence suite room, which is very spacey and has everything. Everything in the room is clean and tidy. The staff always wear smile and are very polite. Mr Horn who welcomed us gave us a lot of help on travel information and is very considerate. Ms Sarat remembered where we sat every morning for our breakfast. I had a great time staying at Model Residence and Spa and will come back next time in Cambodia!

only minor point is the food is so so and the room airconditioning could be a bit stronger. all in all a great place to stay, especially the staff are all so nice and friendly

Hotel was a tab bit small, but service was amazing.

Such a fantastic experience. I was not expecting much out of Cambodia aside from Angkor Wat, but the whole time just blew me away. The staff can be a bit overbearing if you just want to be left alone, but it worked great for me, and service was top notch.

Wunderschœn die Anlage, auch außen eine Augenweide. Aber: nicht ordentlich geputzt, viele Dinge sind „ finish“( Sekt, Moskitospray, bestimmte Speisen, shower Gel, conditioner), Handtücher am Pool fleckig. Das Essen ist fein, Bettwäsche sehr angenehm. Sie sind sehr freundlich, aber oft nicht besonders kompetent. Sonntags kein Spa, abends spricht kaum jemand englisch, außer im Restaurant. Und trotzdem würden wir wieder hinfahren.

Das Hotel befindet sich etwas abseits. Was aber nicht sonderlich schlimm ist (da Tuk Tuk zur Stadtmitte nur 2 Dollar max. kostet. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich und fragt viel nach. Englisch ist ok, aber verbesserungsbedürftig bei manchen. Massagen auch ok, aber zwischen den diversen Massagen sind kaum unterschiede bemerkbar (außer im Preis!). Die Massösen gehen zwischendurch aufs Klo (direkt nebenan - Man hört alles!) und kommen leider mit ungewaschenen Händen zurück (für Europäer sehr befremdlich!). Frühstück fand ich ein Haar im süßen Teilchen, mittags und abends haben wir jeweils 3x probiert den angebriesenen Beef Burger zu bestellen - jedoch kam jedes Mal die Antwort: Ist aus! Hmmm so voll war das Hotel jetzt nicht ;-) Die Zimmer sind auf Grund des dunklen Holzes sehr dunkel. Vorhänge meist zu, da man sonst in die Zimmer schauen kann. Der Salzwasserpool ist super und sehr schön angelegt. Für einen Aufenthalt von 1-2 Tagen ok, aber länger nicht empfehlenswert.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made for a very happy atmosphere throughout the hotel complex.

Removed from center of town, pool was very warm, room condition not great, made service not very good (only made bed), tour guide from hotel stunk and was a rip off. Not sure how this got 4.5 stars but I would not stay here again or recommend it. Photos make it look lot nicer then it really it. Skip this.

Its a trully beautiful hotel. Mear the airport (10mins) And pub sttreet (5mins) Only breakfast selections should be improoved. Staff are super nice and friendly.

Ein traumhaftes Hotel etwas abseits vom Trubel. Durch TucTuc (2Dollar) schnell in der Stadt oder auf dem Markt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind traumhaft und riesig ( wir hatten Familiensuite). Der Pool ist wunderschön, man meint in einem asiatischen Tempel zu schwimmen. Touren nach Angkor Wat können direkt im Hotel gebucht werden. Wir machten die kleine und die große Tour im TucTuc mit englischem Guide, sehr empfehlenswert.

Things need to be improve! 1.) Transport was expensive. Though the transport from hotel to airport was free. However the Tuk Tuk (Vehicle) is really expensive. 2 dollars to go to the "Old town" then if we want to go anywhere they charge within more!!! One time we took a tuktuk to cafe then we went to 2-3 place near the cafe, when we arrived at the hotel the tuktuk tried to charge us 15 dollars 2.) Theres water leaking from the ceiling of our room (Need to fix this) 3.) Insects There are so many insects in our room, me and my girlfriend was bit and it was really uncomfortable feeling. I think the room wasn't secure enough. (Need to fix) 4.) Tuktuk, it really annoying how Tuktuk always ask us about when we will go to the angkor temple. We feel really uncomfortable. So what we did was we rent a motorbike and its really worth it! 9 dollar per day (Recommendation for anyone) At first when i was booking "model residence n spa" hotel, i was worried about the quality and that the photos and the actual hotel itself doesn't match. However my expectation was reached! The room i booked look exactly the same as the photo. I was surprise how well they design the room and hotel, it looks as we are in little modern Cambodia temple. Food was great, better than other hotels we stayed. The pool is awesome and beautiful. Service was really friendly.

El lugar se ve muy diferente en fotos, para empezar la ubicación está un poco escondida por lugares de mala imagen. Aunque las instalaciones del lugar son muy locales y vistosas, están un muy descuidadas, las habitaciones sucias con insectos, telarañas de falta de limpieza. El teléfono no servia, faltaban lugares donde conectar a la corriente para cargar celulares y otras cosas. Aunque la atención en el check in y recibimiento es muy atento, esto no corrige lo demás. Además de que se siente un poco el abandono o solitario del lugar. Al final nos cambiamos de hotel, por algo mucho mejor con mejor ubicación y del mismo precio.

Hôtel typique, très proche du centre ville en tuk tuk, d’ailleur Merci à Mr PY pour son professionnalisme nous avons toujours été en confiance avec lui contrairement aux autres chauffeurs . personnel à vos petits soins, un seul petit reproche c’est que pour les soins manucure/pedicure le lieu n’est pas adapté, on est très mal installé de plus dans des fauteuils inconfortables ce qui gâche ce moment de détente

My husband and I stayed here for four days on our trip through Cambodia and Thailand. Unfortunately during our stay we were both experiencing tummy troubles from the anti-malaria meds we were taking ( necessary for a different area of our trip). We couldn't have been in better hands though, the staff nursed us through a very challenging time with special food requests being met, offerings of special teas to soothe our systems and just a general attention to our comfort. The hotel has a family feel to it, it's smallish compared to many in town which only adds to its appeal. The rooms are comfortable, well appointed and clean. The restaurant is excellent, well priced and fresh. Pool was a perfect spot to chill. Above all the service was top notch, above and beyond. From the moment Vannek welcomed us we knew we were in good hands, she was so charming and attentative! The rest of the team showed the same level of professional yet oh so friendly care. Thavann made sure we had everything we needed at each meal, all we had to do is glance his way and he was at our side taking care of everything. This resort has successfully put together a great hospitality team and in my opinion success with this can make all the difference in a stay.

The beautiful would work in this hotel the wonderful people that work there seem to draw every bit of stress that I was under I can't believe how comfortable I was in that hotel. It's on a rural road but it's still pretty nice I would stay there again anytime
