It's our first visit to Siem Reap and our stay in Royal Angkor Resort has become part of the wonderful memory of our honeymoon trip.
Let me try my best to keep it short. The staff is very friendly and helpful. While English is not my mother-tongue, I found no difficulties communicating with the staff in English. We have stayed for 5 nights, and throughout our stay the room has been kept in very clean condition, except that one night when we returned to the room and found the door to the balcony was left opened. But it only happened once during our stay, so it's a just a minor and forgivable mistake.
Before our trip I had learnt from internet sources that insufficient hot shower is a common issue among Siem Reap's hotel. But I found nothing like that in Royal Angkor Resort during our stay.
If I have to point out one thing that I don't like about the hotel, that must be the insects~! I enjoyed the view of our private balcony so much, but I didn't stayed there as much as I desired because there are too many insects in outdoor area. But to be fair, I know it's a national-wide issue instead of the hotel's.
Finally, I appreciate it so much that the hotel had presented me with a birthday surprise even I haven't mentioned it at all -- it must be that they are smart enough to notice it from my passport. This sort of attention to details really touches me.
What the hotel has delivered exceed my expectation. I would like to write more but this site doesn't allow me to be lengthy.

We would like to invite everyone to come and experience a traditional Cambodian Resort.
Set in 5 hectares of tropical landscaped gardens, Royal Angkor Resort & Spa offers 5-star rooms in a 20th-century colonial-style Khmer building. It features a large outdoor swimming pool from 08:00-21:00 and guests can enjoy meals from 6 in-house dining options. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire property. The Royal Spa is available from 6:00-22: 00, Gym available from 6:00-21:30 and everyday in-house special promotion.
Hearty international meals are served at Garden Café while traditional Khmer fare is served at Royal Court. 4 bars and lounges offer refreshments in a casual setting.

Our Resort standing from cultural village 50metter, international airport 3 km, Siem Reap Town and Old market 4km, Landmine museum 300m, Angkor Wat Temple or temple group 7km, Tonle Sap 17km, Royal Palace or Preah Ang Chek Preah Ang Chorm 6Km, Box Ville Market 200m, and ATM nearly the hotel.
How to Access Check-in:
The real-time to check in at 14:00 and check out at 12: 00. The property offers complimentary two-way airport transfers or bus station to client convenience a 5-minute drive from Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport and a 15-minute drive from the downtown bus station. When you enter our lobby will access you to enjoy a welcome drink and cool towel. After that will work detail your reservation, ask your passport copy, and give you a key system for open the door

The life function might not be as good as those hotels located in downtown, but it's only 5 minutes ride to both airport and downtown. If you do not plan on going too far, Tuk Tuk should be a high-CP choice for getting around. Lucky Mall in downtown area is an excellent place for shopping grocery.

有一天因需要在早餐供餐前就出門而請飯店準備餐盒，結果只提供四個小餐包、一盒零星的水果和一罐水，第二次也需要提早出門，我們在前一天就反應上次餐盒吃不飽，請準備多一些食物，結果是將四個小餐包和水果放在同一盒裡面給我們！說好飯店會提供免費市區接送服務，結果是我們預約時說超過預約人數，隔天因為有西方客人，飯店就出動了兩台車送大家去市區，回程時只來一台車，我們是早就預約了，可是司機居然要求讓那群西方客人上車，幸好經過我們反應才讓我們搭乘！

酒店位于市区和机场中间的所谓高速路上，到机场和市区都是十分钟的车程。酒店有免费机场接送，这点不错。
早餐是自助的，品种还OK，旁边有SPA馆，技术有点一般，而且说好了一个小时的精油按摩，50分钟就结束了，相比几十美金价格而言小失望。
酒店泳池很大，这点很赞，迎宾和服务人员都很热情，可以帮忙联系TUK TUK或者小轿车，虽然是固定价格，但是相比外面稍微有点贵，可能是长期服务酒店的熟客，看在应该算安全的份上，就OK了。
房间的淋浴是需要站在浴缸里的，这点不太好，而且洗手间地漏下水很慢，淋浴的话，水会漫出来，这点需要改进。

This is the second time we have stayed here. I have nothing but good things to say about Royal Angkor Resort. The place is clean, the staff very friendly and the food is very good. The resort is not too close to town, but close enough to be convenient. The rates are very reasonable too.
I would recommend to anyone to stay here, you won't be sorry.

I thought the hotel was rated as a 5 star but i disagree. I will give the resort no more than 4 stars. The building is old, the AC is not always running in the common areas. I had a massage and i had to share my room with a male friend because they only had one steamer. Although there was a curtain in between, it was kind of uncomfortable. If i had known, i would've selected a different type of massage.
The Buffett breakfast was good but the juices were not freshly made. The OJ tasted like Tang.
The staff was super friendly though. No complaint about it.

This ia a beautiful hotel. The entrance is magnificent, the decoration beautiful, the room was large. Ours had a balcony looking to the wonderful swimming pool. The staff very friendly and cooperative. They have shuttle service from and to the airport which us really convenient. They will also take you on the shuttle to other places.

We are from California and traveled with our Khmer family from Phnom Penh so they could experience the brighter side of their country.
We wanted this experience to be memorable in their hearts and minds forever. We wanted these beautiful souls to see what foreigners see when traveling as tourists.
