It's an old motel and could use some updating. Only a child size bathtub with shower. Carpet is stained.
The motel is right along the highway, so noisy at times.

The place is old. Ilight was streaming in under the room entrance door. Water pressure not good i got scalded then icy cold. Then to tepid.
The window screen needs a,major vaccum. . Umder the bed frame a piece of the fabric waa hanging there. However no bed bugs, bathroom and the floors were clean.

We booked the last room available in town. Found unopened food container just under the bed which indicates not a thorough cleaning from former guests. The worst part was instead of a decent mattress, there was a 6 inch foam pad sitting on a box spring. The pad was very soft and sitting on it you sank in at least 4 inches. Laying down you received little to no back support and each time you moved it made a squeaky rubber sound that would wake you up. This mattress was worse than any RV Camper with cheap foam mattresses that you find on a makeshift bed. We only discovered this after 10 pm because on our later arrival we went out for dinner and some shopping and came back about 10 pm and the office was dark. The hotel was not expensive however. We had been on the road for 26 days at that point returning to Ontario from BC. I can accept a simple clean room with a comfortable sleep. This room failed to provide a tolerable bed. My wife and I felt embarrassed as we literally squeeked through the night with every toss and turn. Ultimately waking up with a sore back. Had there been any other hotels to move to in town I would have done it.
A comfortable sleep is the primary reason people stay at a hotel along the Trans Canada in the first place. This one was very disappointing.

The look of the place from the outside would suggest it has seen better days. Reception was ok at the front desk. When I entered the room is was pleasantly cool on a hot Smoky day - finding urine in the toilet bowl as if someone had forgot to flush left something to be desired. The TV worked well enough, and the wifi was excellent. The bed left a lot to be desired, I felt as though I was sleeping in a pea pod! The mattress needs to find a new home - like the dump!

Between 2 major intersections so semi trucks with airbrakes going nonstop. Working train tracks directly behind the motel. Bathroom almost nonexistent & water temperature difficult to regulate. Extremely dirty & sketchy. Do yourself a favour & continue driving.

NOT working - TV or clock radio.
Ice bucket but no place to get ice. No kleenex tissues. One overhead light was only lite for the entire
room - no bedside light. Both mattresses were very soft and lumpy. Air conditioner was very load. My spouse and I are in our 70's and the only access to our second floor room was via a metal "fire escape" type access to our outside only door access. We prayed that there would not be a FIRE. DO NOT spend your money at that place !!!

It’s my second time at this hotel in this overpriced town of Dryden, our first feeling is why am paying twice the rate that it should cost in any other town in Canada for this low budget hotel? This time our room look like someone or police busted the door, broken pieces of glass on the floor, broken toilet tank top, look like punching marks on the door, bathroom ceiling look like it was about to fall off. Looks like the hotel has long term clients as they were the same people smoking outside their room that we met 2 weeks earlier. The front desk person was welcoming. There is a big tv and fast internet on the good side. It’s better than sleeping in your car after a long day of driving.
