I stayed at Earthquest Lodge for 3 nights and it was an excellent choice! Quiet and clean and the host was very kind, accommodating all requests, like nightstand lamp, coffee maker, ground coffee (from the house, thank you for saving my mornings!). The room was clean, with new mattress, all amenities, quiet area, ideal for resting and peace. Everything is at walking distance, the beach, the dining places and most of all, the famous submarine! Thank you, Dave and wife and Tom, I will definitely return with my family!

Upon arrival the manager/owner was there and very helpful … that was probably the best part of our stay. We booked for two nights, the room smelled very musty and gross thankfully we had brought candles. The floors were very dirty I actually went and bought cleaner to clean them and some flip flops so we could walk on the floor and not get dirty. The bathroom had feces running down the front of the toilet which I cleaned up as well as on the garbage can …
My boyfriend requires a wheel chair at times and could not use the washroom and we had to take his chair apart to even get it into the building. Definitely would not go back. The bird feeders outside the room and fire pit was the best part of our stay.

There is no A/C, the “private kitchen” is not private and shared with all the residents.. also there is no shower in the room. I wouldn’t recommend this property for those reasons, the ad needs to be updated.
