Short Review: Cleanliness: Rooms are clean and decently sized. Staff: Staff was warm and very reactive. Especially, shoutout to the breakfast staff, they were so so helpful and accommodative. The guy at the reception who comes at night (i think) is a bit rude.(but not disrespectful) Breakfast: Breakfast is outstanding for the price, we enjoyed every day of our stay because of the breakfast options. A very cozy and beautiful property away from huzz and buzz of the downtown.

We checked in July 3rd during a 90 degree day. The AC in our room was broken. It was not working and flashing an F0 error code. When we contacted the front desk, we were told they were sold out and there was nothing we could do. We asked them to contact maintenance and they said that there was no one that could look at it. They did say there was a possibility that the following day they could move us, but we would have to tough out the night in the hot room. Our children had the room next-door and we ended up sleeping on their floor. We went to the front desk the next morning at 8 AM, and we were told they were once again sold out and they cannot move us into a room and they cannot help us with the air-conditioning. We went to a local store and bought a fan to cool off our room. When we did arrive back to the hotel later that day, after a full day in the city, they did have a room for us so we were able to move. The rest of the stay was enjoyable. I want to point out that the front desk staff over the weekend were very nice. We did contact the manager on Saturday via email, it is now four days later, and we have still not received a response. Today upon checkout, we asked for some form of compensation for not being able to fully use the basic amenities promised us for this room and we were told now. We also ask for compensation for the Fan and were told no. Front desk did admit they told management two weeks ago. AC was broken in that room. Poor way to treat a guest.

Overall, this is an acceptable 3-star hotel, but there is definitely room for improvement. Pros: The rooms were very clean. The bed sheets and pillows were spotless, and housekeeping did a good job throughout our stay. Although the air conditioning system is old, it worked well and kept the room comfortable. Breakfast is simple with limited options, but everything is clean, well organized, and the staff constantly refill the food. The breakfast staff were polite and friendly. Cons: The rooms are much smaller than expected. They are advertised as accommodating up to 6 guests, but in reality they are only comfortable for 3 or 4 people. The front desk staff were not very attentive to guests' concerns. When we raised issues, they tended to give simple explanations rather than trying to resolve the problems. The swimming pool was disappointing. The water was cloudy, there was a very strong chlorine smell throughout the area, and some guests were using the pool wearing regular clothes instead of swimwear. The sauna was turned off and unusable, and the hot tub is extremely small, suitable for only two people. Overall: I would rate this hotel 3 out of 5 stars. It is clean and acceptable for a short stay, but improvements are needed in customer service, room capacity accuracy, and the pool and spa facilities.

I liked the area of the hotel. It’s close to downtown Montreal and other places. Hotel is in quiet environment. The room was decent but the bathroom sink was not properly cleaned. The staff were helpful We didn’t have wifi access throughout our stay, perhaps it was the room we stayed in but nothing could be done about it, everytime we were outside in the lobby, it worked fine The breakfast here is a plus

The room is clean enough. There was an old gummy bear on the floor, but the bathroom is clean. Beds were cleaned. We went to the pool, and there were coughing children in the pool, but that's not on the hotel but its something that made me feel uncomfortable! The pool is heavily chlorinated. My eyes were bloodshot red every time I went in, and I also found a dust bunny inside the pool, which was pretty gross, but the sauna was nice and the free breakfast in the morning was nice. Sadly, you can't take them to your room, but eating downstairs was nice as well. Overall, a good stay for a day!
