This place was awesome. The view was amazing. Very spacious rooming. Location was perfect. Parking was rough, but that’s understandable given the location. We loved our stay.

We stayed in a suite, which was roomy and convenient for our family of four. We paid high season prices, which was to be expected. Staff were helpful, internet worked and kitchen had basic amenities we needed for breakfast. Water pressure was good and the place was quiet. The only thing I would have changed is more comfortable pillows. Overall, a comfy place to stay with amazing views of the harbour.

Fabulous view, close to all activities, lots of restaurants in area, room was huge, well equipped kitchen. No elevator, room three stories up, no parking. No room service. Breakfast not included. Good breakfast. Reasonable restaurant food.

Although the room itself was ok (Room #1), it is on the 3rd floor and we were NOT informed at time of booking that there is NO ELEVATOR. We are 2 seniors and had to climb 3 flights of stairs with luggage. And this was after having to park our car 1 block from the hotel because there is no reserved guest parking and it’s a busy street so parking is competitive. The room is dated and vastly overpriced at $400+.

The view of the harbour from our room was great and the location to restaurants etc was very good. On street parking was hard to find. Room was very dated which I sort of expected. Linens need to be replaced and washed more effectively and area carpet was stained and tired.
Breakfast at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced.
Room came equipped with milk and creamers in the fridge as well as real glasses and mugs instead of paper and plastic. Nice touch.

The Dockside has a perfect location but it needs renovations. There was a light out in our bathroom and different types of light bulbs in the fixture. Showers were unpredictable as the water temperature kept fluctuating between warm and cold. There are no privacy signs for the rooms and a staff person entered our room without permission. Breakfast in the restaurant was mediocre at best.

Our room was a bit dated but not a big deal at all. It was very clean and great view of Front Harbour of Lunenburg. Had a great breakfast and supper at the restaurant downstairs with friendly and helpful staff.
