Fiquei hospedado no quarto 9 durante a semana do dia 4 de maio de 2026. O Castelo Vermelho é uma construção mais que centenária e, apesar disso, mantem-se vigorosa graças ao esmero da equipe e dos administradores.
As instalações são boas, limpas e atendem ao propósito. Porém, o grande diferencial é a equipe, que traz uma atmosfera realmente única para o lugar. Ao chegar ao lounge, você sempre se deparará com música clássica e um ambiente em comum que realmente é frequentado pelos hóspedes. Não deixe de tomar sua taça diária de vinho (cada hóspede tem direito a uma taça diária gratuita), servida pelos simpáticos e proativos Andrés e Boris (estes intercalam. Ambos falam espanhol e inglês com fluência). Toda a equipe foi muito simpática, dando excelentes indicações. Infelizmente não guardo o nome de todos, mas fica também meu destaque para o Lautaro, que me ajudou bastante com dicas de locais e de transportes. O café da manhã é excelente e servido individualmente para cada hóspede com itens frescos e deliciosos. O hotel está bem localizado e a partir dele se pode ir a locais muito interessantes mesmo a pé, como Lastarria e Barrio Itália, além de estar próximo de opções de Metrô (que funciona bem).
Recomendo este hotel a todos!

Lovely location in a quiet but yet bustling area close to the city center and very near the San Cristobal Hill. Charming and very well maintained hotel. Staff was lovely and went above and beyond to help me plan my two days in Santiago. They were also available via WhatsApp for suggestions and arranged a very smooth airport pickup for me. Rooms was a delight (quiet, spacious and great bed) and I was offered a free upgrade. The hotel has a very nice courtyard for sunny days. Breakfast was good and service great but I do miss bread from a bakery. Would love to bed back and really do wish I would’ve had more than two days both at this place and in Santiago.

A beautful small castle with bespoke charm. You really experienced all the trappings of its heritage. Absoultely gorgeous! A fantastic location set amoungst a huge range of eclectic cafes, bars and restaurants. Close to the funicular and cable car entrance. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Loveliest hotel I've stayed in for a long time. So different to the standard formula hotels. A once in a lifetime experience . 👍🙂

For a first time traveling with an autistic adult son I’d landed in an enchanted castle, full of beautiful things, wonderful services, friendly staff, a cozy bar with complimentary daily drinks and a small kitchen that treated us as royals like Beauty and the Beast that we had come to be their guests, this place could be romantic for couples and in our case of family vacation, it was perfect. I felt like I was at home, safe, convenient , within walking distance to all the restaurants in Bellavista. Around the corner is the home of the famous poet, Pablo Neruda, and then from there is the path to the Funicular that takes you up to San Cristobal Hill. The zoo is right next door, but it was closed on Monday our last day so we end up going to Costanera shopping center with the sky observatory that. The front desk staff helped me if I had any questions about my itinerary and made good suggestions to enhance my experience and safety. They even held our luggage for us and allowed us to use the common area like the computer and the tea and coffee area on second floor to refresh before heading to the airport late in the evening. Upon my late arrival, I was happily surprised with a pre-upgrade. The bed was so soft. I felt like I wasn’t even in a foreign country. There was a lady from Australia, who said that she was here 12 years ago and she came back because this place is such a special place for is beauty, convenience for the friendliness. Come and be enchanted!

The staff were amazing, so kind and helpful, so hospitable. The property is gorgeous, everything is beautiful and thoughtfully arranged. It was such a comfortable and authentic stay. They also went above and beyond for my daughter's 21st birthday with a surprise when we arrived. We will absolutely stay here again when we return to Chile someday.

Lovely boutique hotel in a great neighborhood! Our room was spotless, we had a bottle of sparkling white as a welcome, breakfast was fresh and delish. The atmosphere of the Castillo Rojo is just charming! Happy hour every day on the patio...just wonderful! The staff could not have been any better! We LOVED our stay at the Castillo Rojo and loved our stay in Santiago!

Check-in was easy. No elevators, so a bit of a hike to our room on the 4th floor, but Staff assisted with bags. Our room (Classic Queen) was on the small side, but fine for two nights. The breakfasts were ample and delicious, served in a lovely ground floor room. There is a small courtyard area to sit with a coffee or glass of wine. The hotel is within short walking distance of many restaurants. Our first night was very quiet, but the second evening there was loud music ... earplugs are required. Staff are pleasant and helpful.
