Beautiful set up, clean exotic facility but with modern comfort like new bathroom and wifi. The only thing is no electronic water boiler in the room, and also water from the shower is not strong at all.

Great hotel! The building complex itself is one of the most beautiful in Pingyao. Tucked away on a quiet corner near the main street. Really convenient car transfer from the train station. Good restaurant.

The staffs of Yide Hotel were very kind and helpful. The breakfast of both Chinese and Western style were so delicious that we decided to eat at the hotel for our last dinner. Overall, our stay at Yide Hotel was a wonderful experience that will be remembered for many years.

Classic accommodations and lovely layout that fits the old city center.

Everything was wonderful. The property was well maintained, and the ambience was amazing. Also, staff were always smiling and offering to assist. I felt very welcomed.

L'hôtel est ravissant, le personnel est très aimable, une voiture vient nous chercher à la gare moyennant paiement, car le centre historique est interdit aux voitures. La communication avec le personnel de l'hôtel était très facile. En revanche la nuit tombée, il n'est pas facile de retrouver l'hôtel et la porte pour accéder aux chambres étaient fermées si bien que nous ne comprenions plus où nous devions aller. Mais quelqu'un a pu rapidement venir nous ouvrir. Le petit-déjeuner est correct mais sans plus.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and hope I can make it back. It was in a great location, clean and comfortable. The staff & team was very friendly and helpful. Actually enjoyed meals in the hotel restaurant as well

Staff really amicable and made us feel at home!!! It's inside the Ancient City, so it's walking distance to visiting attractions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Pingyao and stay at the Yide hotel. It’s a classic Pingyao bankers house and the staff were wonderful. We ate several meals there and recommend that other guests skip the downtown restaurants and eat dinner there. Staying at the Yide is like a magical walk back in time!

Et helt fantastisk og flot historisk hotel - lidt usædvanligt for Kina en original court yard uden plastik eller tivoli. En af Pingyaos bedste restauranter og fremragende service. En virkelig god oplevelse for de historisk eventyrlystne.

Staying at the Yide Hotel was rather magical. if I'm not mistaken I was the only guest the one night I was there and the proprietor could not have been more attentive and solicitous. She upgraded my room without my asking for it since the hotel was otherwise empty; every time I exited or returned she immediately came outside and asked if I needed anything. her ability to speak English so well made my trip easier. It's a special place.

この町で経験出来る最高の宿泊体験が出来た気がします。やり過ぎなリノベーションホテルが多い平遥で、280年前に造られた本来の富商の屋敷の雰囲気を残しながら、快適に過ごせるように工夫してくれてありました。西大街から少し路地に入った場所であることも観光客の喧騒から離れて過ごせます。 女性マネージャーが、英語でのこちらの要望にも丁寧に英語で応じてくれました。こんなに細やかなサービスをしてくれたホテルは、過去に中国で体験したことはありませんでした。 ホテル付属のレストラン兼カフェは、とても優しい味の家庭料理の雰囲気が漂ったもので、多すぎたり、濃厚だったりする中国の旅の食事の中で癒しと言っても良いほどに口に合いました。価格もとても安くて良心的。家族3人でビールやデザートまで食べて、150元しませんでした。デザートのゴマ揚げ団子も日本とお馴染みのものとは少し違いますが、独特のおいしさがありました。少し煎餅的な質感の皮がシューのようにサクサクで、ゴマ餡もクリームのようなおいしさ。 平遥は、なかなか行けない場所ですが、本当に機会があればもう一度訪ねたくなるホテルでした。

Staying at Yide Hotel in Pingyao was a truly memorable and wonderful experience for me. The hotel is a lovely, Qing Dynasty home that has been brilliantly refurbished and equipped with modern hotel amenities (e.g air conditioning, modern toilets and showers, etc) in a manner that makes it extremely comfortable and convenient, yet without lessening the authentic, old feel which makes it so appealing. The food at the restaurant is superb, with a nice, big array of regional Chinese dishes, Pingyao specialties, and some western food available too. Above all though, I feel it was the exceptional hospitality and genuine friendliness of the staff that made my stay so great. I would both return myself and recommend Yide Hotel to friends or anybody wanting to visit Pingyao in a heartbeat.

The bed has to be the largest bed I've ever slept in. The covers must weigh 10 pounds. lots of electrical outlets for phone chargers, etc.. turning the bathroom into a shower was interesting. was very clean. bottled water was very much appreciated.

It was around 300 years old and decorated authentically. Absolutely beautiful rooms and courtyards. Delicious dinner in the fabulous restaurant. Staff was wonderful and helpful in every way. Also provided a ride to the train station at a great cost
