Pros:
Really good communication from host. Decorated nicely. Log burner (extra charge if using hosts logs). Milk in fridge. 8 minutes drive to Beamish museum. 4 minutes drive to a really good play park and splash area, by the river. Comfy beds and bedding. The accommodation was really clean. Shower heats up quick, large shower head.
Dog bowls and biscuit treats - nice extra.
Cons:
Oven was broken by previous guest (on request, host was really good at providing air fryers). Beds not great if you're over 6ft tall. Shower area is quite small. An extra toilet downstairs would be a bonus.
