The room was clean, the staff were lovely the only thing was that the walls were very thin so you could hear the room next door moving around and their tv

The room was comfortable and warm. The pillows were a little lumpy.
Shower was easy to control and powerful. Very good selection for breakfast and tasty. I went for the avocado bagel with poched egg and it was just what i needed. The whole place was clean and neat. The dinners were also good.

Room was tiny (booked a superior double) and not overly clean (dust all headboard and bathroom needed a more thorough clean!)
Walls are paper thin and could hear everything from next door (daughters got woken by their next door neighbours returning back at 1:30am)
Very short staffed so long wait times. Food was mixed- steak was v v oily but beef pie was lovely (veg and potatoes cold though)
Breakfast wasn’t great, rock hard poached and fried eggs, microwaved defrosted ciabatta (not toasted) and supermarket bought waffles.
Bit disappointing really, probably won’t stay again

The room was in decent condition but the bed was a postage stamp sized double, which would only be okay for a single person. Horribly uncomfortable bedding, and poor facilities generally. And a lukewarm cooked breakfast with coffee from an urn topped off an overall underwhelming stay. Won't be returning.

The hotel is beautiful and maintains many original features. There is a masterpiece of juxtaposition with the old meeting the new aspects, I loved this hotel and would recommend it to anyone. The food was melt in the mouth and homemade yummy! Also it was very reasonable prices for such a good hotel well done!! Will see you soon

No one on reception on arrival but there was a message on the counter to call in this case. Sadly the phone had been left unattended in the office so I had to find one of the bar staff. The wifi code given in the room was incorrect. The restaurant/ bar staff weregreat
