Spacious room. Very friendly and polite staff. Convenient location that is close to most tourist attractions. Thank you for a wonderful stay! :)

Receptionist; wasn’t very friendly ( Chinese lady) . Before we checked in : we were asked if it’s possible little more early check in… other lady told me: yes you can come in about 13:00 o’clock. When we come to check in at 13:00 o’clock. Chinese lady says we only can check in at 15:00 o’clock. (Which Hotel.com shows check in time at 14:00 o’clock!) and she asking us ; if we want upgrade room it’s available now, if we can pay £20! When I refuse to pay. They told me to wait when it’s room get available. After I was arguing with them. Another gentleman kindly give us straight away another room. And room was nice, but everything it’s old. Need to upgrade. Thanks,

The pricing of this place was what drew me in but it had it’s flaws. The toilet in my room didn’t work properly and despite having maintenance come and look and ‘fix it’ it still did not work as it should. There was also some food that someone spilt in the hallway that took over half a day to have cleared up. Also, the walls are quite thin so when a door slams somewhere it reverberates throughout the floor. I also wouldn’t stay here in summer as they only have fans not air conditioning in the rooms.

The location is central, but a bit secluded feeling after dark.

Inside the room was super hot. Fans were not helping.

Horrible. The aircon didn't work which made the room unbearable to stay in.

It was a nice location to have a weekend to yourself or with friends, but the condition of the room was a bit poor, shower broken, room not air conditioned.

Loved the facility. The staff were amazing and location was perfect. Very walkable but my only concern was the safety around the hotel. Since it is in an alley it could feel a little unsafe at night

Staff were kind although the bathroom needed to be made safer ,as there was no handles on the bath of the shower. The bath was very hard to get into myself I used a chair to climb into the bath . There was no bath mats one tiny little bar soap, Bed was very uncomfortable my back is still sore pillows were dry hard and was very hot I won’t stay there again location is very convenient to the shops. It’s OK for a sleepover. If you’re young I wouldn’t recommend it for anybody over 5060 has a limited mobility.

Unfriendly ID check for kids No TV Signal on the first day but fixed next day No new towels supply for the second day stay after informing the reception.

First question I was asked was not 'How are you?' or 'How was your journey?' but 'Would you like an upgrade?' I can see why - I'm fine with windowless rooms for 1 or 2 nights on a budget, but this one was a furnace. They knew about it because they'd put a fan on, but all this did was to circulate warm air round the room. Impossible to sleep. After I complained, they did (bless them) put me in a room with a window which was cooler, but as the air conditioning didn't work, if the windows were left open, the noise from the street kept one awake late and woke one up early. Rubbish on the balcony. No towel change or replacement of milk or coffee - and certainly no one came in to do the room on the second day. 'Oh, we don't clean every day - only every two days'. Not something they advertise, but costcutting is clearly the overriding principle here - not guests. I'm grateful for them sorting out the hot room situation, but would not stay here again if I can help it.

All services like pools and bar unavailable! Room not even decent

The room was so warm it was impossible to sleep. We was given two fans which did nothing. When we asked front desk they said they had nothing for us. No sorry.

The hotel is quite old, and the room had an unpleasant smell. It was warm inside, and although there was a fan, it wasn’t sufficient to cool the space. The door didn’t feel very secure, and there were some suspicious people around. Unfortunately, the staff were not particularly friendly either. I wouldn’t stay here again and do not recommend it.
