Grey Stone Studio Apartments

My friend and I needed a place to stay not too far from Leeds for a night. It wasn't central but that was fine as we had rented a car and we were just passing through. The room we got was exactly as described and it had everything we needed for a short stay. For anything else you might need you can just pop over to the shop opposite it.

Stayed here for one night which was very enjoyable, the place it’s self had little bits of wear and tear but nothing that was dirty. Noise can be heard quite easily through the walls, however it did not disturb us, as other residents reduced the noise as it got later. Taxis and Ubers into the town centre are cheap even late in the evening. Overall a very good place for a couple nights stay!

Twin bed room. Plenty of space.Clean and tidy. Only complaint was poor control on electric shower and poor flow rate

Went to a concert at the Piece Hall which was a pleasant 20-30 minute walk away. Apartments were freshly decorated the week prior to us visiting, which the owners informed us and apologised for due to lingering paint smell. But this was no issue, and meant we arrived to a lovely looking apartment space. Cannot complain at all. All information was delivered in time for us to access our room. Thanks, will use again if I visit Halifax again. Be wary, No parking was left outside the apartment, however a public car park was only a 2 minute walk away - so we used that and had no problems.

Once we got into the property, which took a phonecall as we hadn't received the 4 digit entrance code,even getting into the keybox was not straight forward. However, the beds were clean as was the shower, with plenty of towels.Tea,coffee and milk were available.For a one night stay it was adequate.

On arrival there was no heating we had to contact the owner who directed my partner to the boiler room to switch it on. One of the chairs was broken and the kitchen cupboard door came off when I opened it. Would not stay again

Not the best Wasnt sent my email with the codes to get in which delayed check in Then the code didnt work so was stuck in the freezing cold for 10 mins outside When i got in, window was wide open and it was minus 1 outside so it was freezing! Heating wasnt on So had to physically go and find the heating myself once the property guided me to it to turn it on myself So was literally sat in my coat freezing for the first 2 hours Both chairs were broken so couldnt sit at the table to eat Positives They were responsive and quick to reply to issues Good to have a shop and food places so close by

I stayed in December 2022. Bathroom items (towels & toiletries) and kitchen items (hot beverages, cutlery, cups but only one plates) provided. Mould around tiles in shower. Room deserves a paint. It is situated next to the pub. Only takeaways nearby. 10-15 minute ride into Halifax town centre. Bus stop outside. Noise from other guests and main road. Got constantly woken up at 5am and 530am by noisy female guests slaming doors snd shouting. Not a very relaxing stay.

Sheets looked grubby and heating didn't come on on morning. Rest of room was clean. Convenience store right opposite apartments open long periods

The flat had all the facilities you would need for medium/longer stays Parking was easy Not located in a great area but the accommodation was safe and secure but in our opinion a bit overpriced for its location and type of accommodation

Cleaning was a bit hit and miss but generally OK. Shower could do with the sealent mould sorting. Bed was good, sofa bed i wouldnt want to sleep on.. Kitchen, but no hot water (maybe you had to turn it on somewhere- no instructions). Free tea and coffee - but only one mug!

Didn’t stay had to find another hotels as the bed looked like it had been slept in and not changed. Very disappointed with the whole experience

Stay was fine and only thing is operator was not lenient for a midday checkout as the cleaners come at 10:30 am so have to leave a little early as we tried to put the request a day earlier at the time of booking that was inconvenient

The area round the property was quite rough and it was close to a main road with quite a lot of traffic noise.

Decent stay, it was obvious that pub goers use the parking slots. I got the last one and the cars were gone by 11pm. Property good, communication excellent, kitchenette and android tv great touch. Would stay again 👍

Apartment was dirty. Condom wrappers on the floor. Booked fir 2 nights and only stayed 1 as it wasn’t how it was described or looked in pictures

Parking is very limited and access to the property is fiddly with the key code on both front door and apartment door, but not too tricky. There wasn’t any bedding for the sofa bed when we arrived but Ben sorted us out after calling. The shower was grubby with what looked like stained black mould and glasses and mugs in the cupboards were filthy with chapstick and lipstick marks. Also limited supplies with one sole coffee sachet, and three loose tea bags in a bowl. Walls a bit thin too as could hear every word of eastenders from the next apartment. Apartment was well priced and served its purpose, but won’t be back in a rush I’m afraid.

The location is great, and the room is exactly as seen on photos. Lots of space and little kitchen side which is great. Unfortunately it wasn’t clean when we arrived. Old towels piled on the back of bathroom door, half a loo roll for 2 nights stay for 2 people, old flannel and hair bands from previous people staying, the floor was very dusty and dirty. And shower room door didn’t close and stayed open during shower a good 1-2 inches. Disappointing cleanliness but the room is good.

Great location close to eateries and a couple of pubs. Apartment is as described, clean linen and towels. Would use again if in the area.

Clean, well equipped apartments. Good parking availability, convenient location. Some traffic noise at night but not excessive.
