This is very basic accommodation, there’s nothing really wrong with it, but it’s up an awful lot of stairs, no lifts. It was clean enough, but very basic. No frills! It was very noisy from the club, very warm, could hear other guests, bed was not comfy at all, pillows were old and flat and stained. But it was a safe place to sleep.

Overall It met my requirements and was close to the station and centre. The room was clean and quiet although reached by steep stairs. The shower provided hot water easily. There were two lamps but I couldn't figure out how to work the main light. I used the television for BBC 1 news but could only get very quiet sound possibly to avoid disturbing other guests. On two of my thtee nights coffee etc was not replenished and on my final night nothing had been done in the room.
There were problems with the key card s and one night someone came in the room.
Despite this I was satisfied. Equipment in the bathroom was new and worked.Staff were rarely to be seen and on arrival the young man failed to take my bag up the flights of steps despite my age.
Breakfast is not available but I. was aware of this and saw noone in the morning at all
Many places nearby for meals.

There is a nightclub downstairs. It was very noisy and in an unsavoury part of town. The stairs to the rooms are steep and narrow.

Room 10 run down and poorly maintained. Shower head and holder broken and 3 steep flight of stairs to get to the room. Poor insulation and despite being on the top floor, could hear all the noise from the road outside.

The good thing was that the shower worked it was also quiet ,which it probably would not be on a Feiday nor Wedneaday.
Poor things were ,no lift, TV did not work and there was a lot of confusion or argument about the bill.

Only good thing was it's distance from railstation...hotel was dated and very depressing and above a nightclub...rooms on floors 1 & 2 no lift...no breakfast available although supermarket opposite

It has reputation of being noisy, especially on Friday & Saturday nights when the nightclub below the hotel is in full swing.
However, although it is noisy, I was given earplugs by the reception staff and I slept reasonably well.
I was in room 5, to the rear of the hotel at the rear, and it was very quiet on the other nights.

Not really a hotel but rooms above a ? pub? night club.
Very noisy, loud music until after 3am.
No lift service and rooms are on the 1st and 2nd floors.

returning customer, my go to place in Norwich, , excellent position, close to the train station, plenty of bars and eateries and a Tesco right opposite.
The building is not new, the furniture might seem dated but very functional and no visible defects and had a very good sleep , very comfy bed and all linesn and bathroom and everything else very clean.
I will be back

I was welcomed warmly and helpfully by the receptionist on my arrival.
The room was very basic but the bathroom was in my view unusable. I spent the first night and found my room to be cold so I slept in my clothes to stay warm.
The next day I abandoned my stay as this venue did not feel safe for a single female guests with various characters around the floors and worrying noises.
I accept that I paid a very low amount to stay but there are basic requirements for a stay.

Room was clean and neat
Unfortunately I didn’t check previous reviews and didn’t realise the room was above a nightclub. So after 11 pm was very noisy. (And you could feel the base of the music through the floor). .
This hotel is really only suited to young clubbers. It’s right in the main road, in the nightclub strip so very rowdy with cars zooming, backfiring and a lot if youngsters screaming and shouting.

We only stayed one night and it was excellent value for money. It was a Friday night so the nightclub downstairs was open but the noise didn't bother us. Room was warm with a TV and also a well stocked tea and coffee tray. The bathroom was also clean.
