New and comfortable hotel. Walking distance to city centre

Hotel is quite new in comparison with other International brand hotels in that area. Comfortable bed, room nice and clean. Within walking distance to CBD and tourist area. However, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night around 1:30am and we learned the next day that it’s a fire drill. That’s totally ridiculous to me. I’ve travelled around the world in the past 50 yrs and never came across any hotel like this. The fire alarm woke all hotel guests without prior notice nor explanation on site. Guests including myself needed to run around to check out what’s happening. Hope they never ever do this again. We’re extremely tired after a whole day’s travelling and desperately needed a good night’s sleep.

Service is not good enough as compared to payment.

The room is clean with very comfortable bed, location is perfect as it is in the heart of everything. The trip is a birthday trip, so they’re so sweet to decorate the room and give us some little treats. Staff are very friendly and always with big smile. We’ll definitely coming back =)

silence and good access to train station.

The location was excellent — close to the train station, city center, and also just a 15-minute walk to the shopping mall. There’s also a Sainsbury’s right next to the hotel, open until 11 pm, which was very convenient when most shops closed early on Sunday. Public parking was nearby, just within 5mins walk with a great discount provided by the hotel. The room was comfortable and very clean, making our stay enjoyable.

Super clean, really easy to find from the station. As a solo female traveller, I felt safe in the hotel, the area and walking around in the evening. The room was large, very clean and the bed was really comfortable with plenty of pillows. Breakfast was great, lots of variety and really well presented.

Was an ok hotel. Was clean with a very comfy bed. Breakfast was lovely. Very good location to walk into the city centre. Staff were friendly. Only draw back is no parking you have to walk down the road to a pay car park. However you do get discount from the hotel.

The room was clean, the staff very friendly, and the area quiet, which made for a pleasant experience.

Lovely beautiful rooms with city view enjoyed our stay only issue is paid car parking outside the building but not far away… we had a blue badge so they accommodated us inside building next to the main entrance very polite and helpful staff best experience defo coming again

Very helpful and friendly staff, rooms nice and clean, comfy bed, good shower. Gym was really modern and good. Breakfast your standard English Breakfast buffet, limited options but good quality Only Parking a public parking, about 2-3 min walk away. You get a discount if you enter your registration at reception.

It was clean and new but it didn't have a fridge and the staff where rude.

Great place!

Good hotel, great location. Staff helpful and friendly, also appreciate that the hotel employs disabled staff. In the lobby there was water with orange which was a nice touch. Breakfast was decent, they had vegan sausages & oat, almond & soya milks. First day there was gluten free cereals but second day they ran out which was a shame. Would likely stay again if ever in area.

Great hotel, service, location and parking

Very nice hotel. Good service, clean rooms, nice bar and restaurant areas. Good selection of food in the restaurant and breakfast was good. Close to the railway station (5 minute walk) where you also can catch busses or a ferry boat. Walking distance to the city is manageable.
