Great location. Plenty of safe parking . The bedroom was a good size and well equipped.

This is a nice house. We can see through a window a farm with sheep and cow. However, it's a little bit hot inside the room at night time because we must keep the windows shut to prevent insects coming in when we sleep.

Receptionist was never seen at any point during a Thursday to Saturday stay and checking in and out was achieved via a text with codes and a basket for the key. With a trip out on the Friday we left the “clean room” sign out. The bin was emptied, the cups changed and coffee etc replenished, but the bed didn’t get made nor the towels changed. There was parking on site but the majority of spaces were taken by visitors to the neighbouring Indian restaurant and bar. Whilst we didn’t mind so much the service for a £65 a night room without breakfast on Thursday, at £95 on Friday this was really poor and I most certainly wouldn’t recommend to others.

Simply amazing! Apartment was a nice surprise upgrade but in any case this hotel is a great value for the price. Comfy kingbed, quality furniture, large bathtub, tv with streaming all setup, tea/coffee/biscuits at will. The entrance is a little underwhelming but the rooms are ace. Very convenient for the new forest. Highly recommend! Will stay again.

New Forest Lodge is in a convenient location, it has plenty of parking, friendly staff and is clean and mostly quiet.

We did not see any staff at all during our stay (instructions for check-in were given by email/text message) but compared with where we had come from the room was wonderful with all the facilities we could wish for. Plenty of free parking available. The only downside was noise, from both traffic and the room fridge.

To much noise from other rooms through the night, items in room not working as they should. Not as clean and tidy as it should be.

When we arrived we were greeting by the lady at the desk terribly. Her attitude stinks. She wouldn’t let me finish what I was saying about our booking. The booking stated we could have a free toddler bed, on arrival she charged us £20. This is not a 4 Star Hotel. The bathroom was dirty, the bath was falling to bits, the ironing board was disgusting. Bed that we paid for has springs coming though and I now have terrible back pain. Guy next door snoring all night the walls are that thin, and above us the noise from 6:30am was so so loud. We left and the receptionist was stood there smoking. Never ever again and will not be returning. I would advise you think before staying here.

Airconditioning was a mobile unit that did not work. Noise seemed to carry through the walls. The beds however were excellent.

Bed was very Comfortable. Room clean and well presented. Loved the fact that there was a small refrigerator in the room My only criticisms were that the TV was rather small & the road outside a little busy . I only used the tea facilities . Having said that I would definitely stay again

Really convenient and good value, only 15 min drive into Salisbury

Would have rated it higher but we had a very noisy family above us which sounded like kids jumping off of the bed onto the floor! Very creaky floors as well. Lots of traffic noise too. Be aware that the Indian though 10% discount for staying here add on the exact amount you save onto the bill which you can ask to be removed, food and service was good though we got it removed and added a cash tip, though the same noisy family was behind us in the restaurant with screaming kids lol
