Clean room with amazing sea views. Brilliant staff, always helpful and attentive, great hotel

My wife and I stayed only one night, but we wish we’d had more time to enjoy the area and hotel. Kim checked us in, and she answered every question and took care of every need without trouble or delay. For the rate we paid, my wife and I agreed this was the best place we stayed on our 2 week journey around the southern UK. Access to the water, a nice walk to Land’s End, convenient breakfast and pub food, and complimentary coffee, tea, and round of lager were some highlights of our single day staying here.

Gorgeous location, lovely staff, we'll definately be back

Nice location as opposite the beach parking not on site but in Pay & display car park next door. Booked a premium room with sea views but view obstructed by scaffolding but was due to be dismantled soon. Room was nice but not exactly spotless as very dusty especially on drinks tray & lights, TV. Also Shower screen damaged and bathroom blind broken. With a little more care and attention & TLC checks before check in, the hotel could be really nice as fantastic location, especially in the summer for drinks.

The Old success inn is in a beautiful location. Check in was very smooth and the member of staff was very attentive and explained everything we needed to know. We stayed here with the view to doing parkrun at Lands End and on the website it shows breakfast is from 8am-11am, he was adamant it was only till 10am but made a note we'd be back in time. I since checked and their website does say 11am so be careful here. Our room was in the adjoining out door block. Very spacious and nicely decorated however the mould on the blinds wasn't so pleasant. We had an evening meal in the restaurant, i had the trout special which I have to say was lovely however literally a few hours after going to bed I woke clammy with cramps and spent till 2am with sickness & diarrheoa. I felt better the next day however come the evening i worsened again leaving me unable to eat my evening meal or breakfast and another night in the bathroom. On arrival home I then spent another 3days unwell. It does look like it was from the fish! I did email the hotel to make them aware but didn't get a reply. If this hadn't have happened it would have made our stay far more enjoyable.

Staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was great including Vegan cooked. Room comfy and great location.

Truly excellent overnight stay. Great pub and superb room, beautifully appointed with everything you need. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Amazing cooked breakfast in the morning as well. Absolutely nothing to find fault with.

Absolutely lovely with amazing view of the sea

I went for my birthday & chose the hotel for the location, stunning views & closeness to the Minack theatre. Stunning location, right on the beach, the staff were very attentive and couldn't have done more and all in all made it a very special stay for my birthday.

Fantastic location and view from our room, really comfortable and welcoming. Great breakfast and added bonus of yoga class if we wanted to greet the day. Love to go back!

The location was absolutely stunning! Watched the sunset over the cove. Staff were welcoming and kind. The room was just lovely- so many thoughtful details. Highly recommend!!

Had a lovely stay at The Old Success Inn. We booked a room with sea view and were not disappointed. The breakfast was really good and kept us going well into the day. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was really good. Only issue was the bathroom fan was really loud, however forgot to tell them this when checking out, so hopefully they will read this review. Overall thought the stay was great.

Room was clean and comfortable, well equipped and supplied. Location is amazing, right next to the beach. Perfect views Breakfast excellent, good quality and a huge choice. Best of all were the staff - all very welcoming and helpful, in a natural, non-corporate. Congrats to them all. Only downside was the room - number 15 - which has poor sound isolation from reception and bar. It has windows that are overlooked by the terrace so you have the noise and the lack of privacy following from that. I’ve given five stars because of the outstanding staff but I would only stay here again if I was sure to avoid that room.
