Where do I start The property was described as a studio. It stated that everyone in my party would be undestrurbed in the accomodation. This is untrue and breaches the trades description legislation The property has a shared kitchen with no privacy in it. The only TV is in the kitchen and so relaxing at the end of the day before bed by watching TV was not really possible My food had to be stored insecurely The access to the room I booked was up very steep steps with a low ceiling This was also not known before booking Whilst the access is ok for a residential property it almost certainly does not meet the legislative requirements for a shared room let (multiple occupation). I banged my head several times In the case of a fire, escape would be severely restricted. There was no fire escape plans or smoke alarms on the top floor, breaching further legislation Parking nearby was impossible The low height in the shower also made me bang my head On arrival, it was almost impossible to get the key because the alley is too dark. A light sensor is required not a timer. The room was not ready with dirty sheets and towels There were no internet instructions and as a result I missed an important meeting as I got them too late The phone number provided was incorrect The shower overflows creating effectively a pond that I had to mop up every morning The owner rudely suggested I cancel the booking and go to the Travel Lodge saying I got a good deal
