Great staff , Leo was amazing. The chef was superb. Breakfast was so good. Top quality food. We also had dinner- pizza and steak pie were the best we’ve had. Would recommend

We were travelling with a child a had accomodation with two rooms which worked really well.
Lovely sea view.
Excellent value for money.

We stayed in rhe Porthole room.
Positives - excellent location, reasonably priced with fabulous view over the railway line and the estuary. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good value and enjoyable as was the evening meal we purchased, although a little pricey for pub food. Comfy bed, some nice decor in the room, and the 2 chairs in the bay window meant we could sit and admire the view whilst enjoying a cup of tea.
Negatives - damp patch on ceiling, shower temp went from very very hot to warm by itself, so we avoided using it again, toilet leaked and bathroom door didn't close. Staff apologised for a leak in one area of the hotel however overall general areas need refreshing.
Summary - you get what you pay for. Price reflects the standard of accommodation.

The location is perfect with easy access & a car park at the back (payable) & also a tunnel going through to the promenade, perfect for a stroll. The view from the bay fronted room was stunning; highly recommended.
The staff are all very hard working but courteous at all times & can't do enough for you.
The food is good & reasonably priced.
The poached eggs and mushrooms I had for breakfast was delicious!
The place is in need of some TLC & refurbishment is clearly ongoing but my room was clean & comfortable & the small table & chairs in the bay window was just the job.
Very reasonably priced; amenities are fairly basic but for a budget stay you can't go wrong at the Commidore.

The main reason for leaving a low review was because the shower didn’t work. There was a note in the bathroom saying that the water pressure could be low at busy times, but we never found times that weren’t busy as the shower didn’t work period. The room was also very cold. The radiator was only half warm. I think a simple bleeding oh the radiator could have fixed that. I came back with a cold. I wouldn’t stop again

Nice room with good views over Morcombe bay. Windows old sash windows a bit drafty and noisy but central heating was good so room was warm. Bar downstairs that serves drinks and food. Car park with plenty of room next to it but need to pay between 8am and 6pm.

We were given fan heaters for heating. The shower went from scalding hot to cold and then no water. There was only cold water in sink taps. The toilet flushed only some of the time. I d not intend going back

Our room was nice - small but it was only for 1 night. However the shower was so small it was difficult to move in it and there wasn't anywhere to put shower gel etc. The water also kept going too hot then cold. We had a meal there on the evening which was delicious, but one of the bar staff came across a bit rude and obnoxious! Breakfast was also delicious and the member of staff serving breakfast was lovely, really smiley and friendly!
