As an independent, there was a good selection of cask beers (never pub/hotel and bar in the village are Green King)
We only had breakfast in the hotel, the full English was excellent, plenty of juice, toast and tea coffee.
Service was also exceptional. Josh was brilliant as was Nick (who is the owner)

The propertys owner helped me book breakfast, which was beautiful, when we arrived, helped me with my belongings, the room was lovely and big, it's a beautiful town with affordable Uber transport

The Crown is an old hotel right on the main street of Long Melford. The menu looked great but we ended up eating at The Bull Pub across the street be ause it was less expensive. The room was clean. The en-suite bathroom was up a couple of steps from the bedroom. There was a very heavy double door at the top of the stairs whiywas tricky with luggage. The staff very fryand helpful. Lovely breakfast.

Nice hotel /pub - enjoyed staying there. It’s a bit tatty in places but clean and comfortable. Fires in the bars, good restaurant, nice friendly people.
