Nice accomodation. Clean and quite new room.

I arrived at the property, which is a self check in in facility. I had recieved no notofication of codes for entry so had to call the help number. I was told my room number and recieved a text with code. On locating the room, it was already open and had not been serviced after the previous occupant. i called help again and the needed to wait around 30 minutes for the arrival of staff and the room prepared for me. Once i got in the room, the door handle fell off on the inside. Not impressed at all with the initial check in or the room maintenance.

This is self checkin but that worked well. It worked well for me, was clean, and comfortable. I would use again.

Room was lovely & perfect for me as travelling for work. Could’ve perhaps used a dust in places & there were tea splashes on the wall near the kettle but overall was clean. Will be staying here again as ideal location for my office.

Secure parking, clean room, no bar, no staff. Ideal for business stop over but really could have done with an iron & ironing board.

Plenty of off road parking, no staff onsite, vending machine in main building with limited supply of chocolate bars and drinks etc. Room 17 - large room, comfy bed, powerful shower, proper size towels - the kind that actually go all the way around a fully grown adult male, space to work and very good wifi connection / speed. Downside.......no curtains in room just vertical office style blinds missing a blade which let lots of light in at night. Also the walls in the annexe are very thin, could hear the neighbours using the facilities and snoring throughout the night - appreciate this may not be the Dakota's issue but I can't be the first to have noticed and a few packs of ear buds would have helped.

My stay was alright, i would say it's reasonable value for money and not bad especially on short notice. Parking is plentiful and free, as it's on the property (though a bit tight if you have a wider/longer car like an SUV or estate). There's a chinese takeaway next door I was in room 1, which was in a decent condition, looked reasonably clean and tidy except for a panel being off of the wall where there was electrics/piping visible. The only real nside was an awful smell coming from the drains in the bathroom. I genuinely felt sick when i first smelt it upon walking in. Leaving the bathroom window wide open did help to lessen the smell but it didn't go away. This must be addressed in my opinion, especially as I've read other reviews complaining about it too. The only other negative was that the room was absolutely freezing most of the night until around 3am, when the heating came on, which then felt blisteringly hot. There's no way to turn heating up or down so you will simply have to put up with it. Not the end of the world but it did significantly reduce my quality of sleep. Bar those issues, Joy was very friendly and helpful, the process of getting door and lockbox codes was pretty straightforward. Overall i would give the Dakota a 3/5 stars, although there are some issues that need sorting before i would personally think of returning. I'd also like to add that i appreciate the speed at which the room was made ready as I booked it at very short notice. Thank you!

Amazing as always

Great location for me Room lovely and clean with all amenities you could need Excellent communication Free parking with plenty of space Wi-Fi for free Very close to a takeaway in case you get hungry Self check in but a number was given to contact owners if any issues. Only downside , radiator which was working well stopped in the night and i woke up cold, however there was a spare blanket in the wardrobe.

Room was clean and bed comfortable, quite a small room but good for what we needed for 1 night, easy parking and a quiet night, kettle with tea bags etc, easy entry to building and room. Only 1 negative was that there was mould on ceiling in bathroom so obviously poor ventilation, I opened window in bathroom while showering and that helped but obviously over time it hasn’t been well ventilated. Would definitely stay again when that way.

Nice room, warm, comfortable, quiet. Cleanliness a little bit of an issue. No hair dryer in the room as specified in amenities, but this was remedied in the morning, for which thanks. Plenty of parking and useful Chinese takeaway next door.

Lovely property and bedroom very modern and warm. Very quiet too. The cleanliness of the room unfortunately wasn't good. Carpet needed hoovering. Toilet seat not clean. The bin in the bathroom had someone elses sanitary deposits. The shower grate was filthy and rinsed the shower before i went in. Such a shame as a great price for the room, but feel a deep clean of the room is needed.

i never even saw the room. This was my second bad experience with Hotels.com in the SAME day after years of using the service with rarely a negative experience. It makes me really question whether I will use it again. In this case, the hotel was not a hotel at all but an airbnb equivalent. There was no front desk and nobody to speak to at the property. The entry was locked so we couldn't get in the front door. I do occasionally stay in AirBnBs on my own but never with my family. Found a hotel through a different app and had a good night. Did not bother trying to talk about a refund since I expected the result would be I would be pointed to the no refund policy. I don't like buying things blind, especially if I can't be confident on what I am receiving.

Rooms clean, never see anyone, you get a message to let you k ow the codes to get in and for the key safe. Stayed he a couple of times now.

Clean room, good amenities

The hair dryer is missing . And the radiator is not working. We message the host around 11pm. We appreciate that it’s a bit late in the night but no response until we check out. Also there is dust on the wall, not as clean as other guests commented However the bed is quite comfortable.
