Basic single room, not very comfortable bed, and i supose ia m not used to the road noise as i was kept awake by the traffic. The positive note was that it was cheap for £ 53.00 P/N. so i am not complaining. You pay for what you get.

We enjoyed our stay which was 1 night. Staff welcoming and friendly clean, room warm, comfortable night sleep. Would recommend and stay here again.

Clean, cosy and comfy. Also very convenient for my visit.

I stayed in this hotel while visiting relatives in the area. I know this area because I lived in the local area as a child. The staff were very welcoming and efficient when I arrived. My room was a bit dated, however clean and everything worked as it should..There was some noise from something for a while at night. It sounded like a generator of some sort. Fortunately it stopped. There is free parking outside the hotel and I had no concerns about leaving my car there for the day. It iscalso walking distance to Westbrook and Westgate beaches. (10 min max) I would definitely visit again.

Sehr guter Stopp etwas außerhalb von Margate. Anmeldung im Pub. Die Zimmer sind über dem Pub, aber ab 22 Uhr war alles ruhig. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit zwei Betten. Die Dusche war hervorragend, und die Handtücher waren auch klasse. Alles pieksauber. Der Pub macht mittwochs bis samstags Abendessen. Dienstag ist Bingoabend. Das (kostenlose) Internet war ultraschnell. Margate hat viel mehr zu bieten als ich erwartet hätte. Ich komme wieder.

Disappointed, room smelt of cigarettes, toilet seat was cracked in half, carpet was stained & bed uncomfortable.

Lovely owners , very friendly had a great stay. Room was clean and comfortable the shower was great.. the locals in the bar was very friendly and made fill welcome. Would definitely recommend and would stay again..

Tremendously friendly host with nice pub on property. Very helpful. Ample free parking. Good area in walking distance of main attractions.

Nice place but check out at 1030 am is too early

Great place to stay

Our trainers room was above the pub itself and was dreadfully noisy the whole evening with no warning of this. She also had a family with young children in the room next door and they were terribly noisy the whole evening due to the noise downstairs. Would not recommend if you have been working all day are tired and want to sleep. If you are going to join in downstairs then you will be fine.

The room was clean apart from the fan needed a good clean it was full of dust. I didn't get into the bed as the springs in the matterss where very prominent, luckily it was warn so slept on top of the duvet helped abit. The pillows were very flat.

Welcoming, comfortable sleep and rest

We had a lovely spacious room here with a double bed plus 2 single beds for two of us and lots of space. A little bit dated but clean and tidy, perfect for a reasonably priced stay, as we were going to a concert at Dreamland which is about 25mins walk or 5mins taxi ride away.

Clean, comfortable and with a friendly welcome. At present there is no food and it would be good to make this clear. I was directed to several alternative options and well looked-after.

Great and comfortable stay! Check inn was quick and easy and entrance to hotel is actually separate to the adjacent pub which was great as we wasn't disturbed by any noise from the revellers on a weekend! Room was very spacious for a family of 4 and was very clean! Would highly recommend and great location. Only 5 min drive to Margate central!

The hotel experience was underwhelming. We were told on arrival that there was no food available. (Kitchen was closed for two weeks) The reading lights in the room & above the mirror didn't work. Only 4 saches of coffee, no soap in the bathroom. The pump action handwash was empty, the place were the hairdryer was, had no hairdryer. The bedstead was loose and banged on the wall. However, the room was clean enough, I think if we had paid £60 a night that would have been fair. But £80, for no breakfast and no facilities made it overpriced.
