We picked this place at random online, coming in from a 10 day cruise to Southampton. Booking online sight unseen is always a gamble, but this time we hit the jackpot. Totally charming English countryside inn, fantastic food, stunning rooms, very comfy pub, and amazing staff. I'd be remiss if I didn't single out Kate and Tahir, who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

A lot of design flair has been put into The Kings Head interiors. Very comfortable. The choice of breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal we enjoyed there. The staff were very helpful as was their manager Tahir. The Kings Head is on the bus route into Winchester with a bus stop right outside. Very convenient for visiting the city. We were very impressed and would definitely stay again.

Very lovely building, beautifully and tastefully decorated. The friendly staff are happy to do whatever makes your stay a pleasure. Extensive breakfast cooked to order, Plenty of choice for delicious evening meals, Situated in a quaint village, right by a bus stop, with easy access to Winchester. There are many attractions within a half hour drive. Definitely a pleasure.

The Kings Head is well situated for exploring Hampshire via public transport and/or car and seems to be a bit of a hub for local residents.
The room along with the rest of the hotel is decorated to a good level to make our weekend stay comfortable.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, perfectly located and ideal for exploring the area.bus stop just across the road. From the moment we arrived, the staff were professional, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which made a great first impression.
Our room felt luxurious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. Bed was huge and soo comfortable! The bathroom was equally impressive, with high-quality products that added a really thoughtful touch.
Breakfast was excellent, with a generous continental buffet as well as a menu offering freshly cooked hot options. The lady serving breakfast was so helpful, warm and friendly - lovely lady.
In the evening, we dined in the snug area, where there was plenty of choice and everything we ordered was delicious.
Overall, a fantastic stay and somewhere we would happily return to and highly recommend!

There was a coffee stain by the machine in my bedroom, which spoke of a certain lack of attention to detail in cleaning the room. Otherwise the room was clean and very comfortable, the shower room, towels and toiletries first rate. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel, pub was absolutely perfect. The staff were excellent especially Tarik excuse me if not spelt correctly.
All staff were extremely attentive.
Room was so cozy, a little in the warm side but we didn’t see the thermostat as slightly hidden.
We ate at the pub on Friday, food, drinks all excellent.
Breakfast was fresh and hot.
We will definitely be back.
