We had a lovely stay at this hotel, perfectly located and ideal for exploring the area.bus stop just across the road. From the moment we arrived, the staff were professional, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which made a great first impression.
Our room felt luxurious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. Bed was huge and soo comfortable! The bathroom was equally impressive, with high-quality products that added a really thoughtful touch.
Breakfast was excellent, with a generous continental buffet as well as a menu offering freshly cooked hot options. The lady serving breakfast was so helpful, warm and friendly - lovely lady.
In the evening, we dined in the snug area, where there was plenty of choice and everything we ordered was delicious.
Overall, a fantastic stay and somewhere we would happily return to and highly recommend!

Excellent allround - the rennovation is both professional and very tasteful and the owner and staff were truly welcoming and fabulous hosts. Highly recommended.

The hotel, pub was absolutely perfect. The staff were excellent especially Tarik excuse me if not spelt correctly.
All staff were extremely attentive.
Room was so cozy, a little in the warm side but we didn’t see the thermostat as slightly hidden.
We ate at the pub on Friday, food, drinks all excellent.
Breakfast was fresh and hot.
We will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, perfectly located and ideal for exploring the area.bus stop just across the road. From the moment we arrived, the staff were professional, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which made a great first impression.
Our room felt luxurious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. Bed was huge and soo comfortable! The bathroom was equally impressive, with high-quality products that added a really thoughtful touch.
Breakfast was excellent, with a generous continental buffet as well as a menu offering freshly cooked hot options. The lady serving breakfast was so helpful, warm and friendly - lovely lady.
In the evening, we dined in the snug area, where there was plenty of choice and everything we ordered was delicious.
Overall, a fantastic stay and somewhere we would happily return to and highly recommend!

There was a coffee stain by the machine in my bedroom, which spoke of a certain lack of attention to detail in cleaning the room. Otherwise the room was clean and very comfortable, the shower room, towels and toiletries first rate. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel looked and felt very festive and.cosy with stylish Christmas decorations.
We visited the Christmas markets in town which was only a 10 min drive away.

The most disgustingly dirty place I have ever stayed in. Clearly hadn't been cleaned for weeks. Dust everywhere, leaves, feathers and bits of rubbish over the floors. Hair from someones hairbrush sitting on the windowsill. Kettle disgusting. The most revoltingly stained duvet I have ever seen.

Wanted to check in late as coming from a wedding and was told the latest check in was 11, slight inconvenience .
Room was very tired, broken shower door, smelly drains, peeling wallpaper, creaky floorboards, warm cold water tap, black mould above the shower.
Full English breakfast and teas included, very average as bacon and sausage overcooked.
The reviews and website did a lot of heavy lifting for this property which badly needs work and was massively overpriced at £150 for the night.
