The hotel was amazing it was clean and comfy, I only stayed for 1 night, the only problem with my room was there was no where to sit and work other then on the bed, a corner desk would fix that when I had a shower and turned the heat up there was no real way to turn it down and they didn’t do food other then pizza but there is a place to eat 5 minutes walk, the staff was amazingly friendly the room was clean the bed was comfy

Fairly good, a bit out of the way but very reasonably priced. Kitchen wasn't serving, unfortunately, which is too bad.

The accommodation itself couldn't be faulted. Friendly staff, fresh towels daily, all very nice. I would however strongly recommend an out-of-hours point of contact in the event of getting locked out of the room. In fairness, it's entirely my own fault that I locked myself out to begin with (won't be forgetting that mistake in a hurry). But if it wasn't for an upstairs tenant being able to get hold of the correct person to let me back in, I would've had no choice but to try to sleep outside. It's no good listing the pub's number for contact at a time when nobody's available to answer, and this did sour my last night's stay somewhat. I was very apologetic to Tracey about the disturbance, & had forewarned her about the messages I'd left on the phone before leaving (I hope they were not deemed as anything untoward).

the bed was amazingly snug and comfy - A beautiful end to a day of walking!

Value for money, convient location close to motorway links but still quiet and pleasant stay, the bed mattress was a little hard for me which was only issue.

Lovely convenient stay, plenty of parking, comfy room, nice shower, will stay again.

Very basic check in, only had pizza on offer even though booking information said restaurant on site

Room was very cold and the heated towel rail didn't work, But a comfortable bed.

We had to book at the last minute due to an emergency family vist in the area,Tracey who greeted us on a late arrival was very friendly and went out of her way to get us some food as the kitchen was closed when we arrived,it was much appreciated.lovely grounds to sit in on the outside and in.we had a dinner the next evening at Mickys dinner just 10 min up the road wich was recommended to us,nice friendly staff and nice food.

Lovely accommodation, comfy and spacious with everything required. Beds great. Within feet of very busy road so expect road noise inside and out.

Nice pub, nice rooms

Had a great couple of nights here . Friendly staff good beer and in right place for me. Room was nice for the price. Only downside no food but a diner was close by that fulfilled my needs

Nice stay, good price, staff friendly

Had a nice night's stay in a twin bedroom ensuite. Very clean with decent furniture and towels. The ensuite could do with a bit of attention; the temperature control for the shower needs loosening off as it was very hard to change the very hot setting it was stuck on (Scalding). The extractor fan didn't work either. Could do with a fan when the weather is hot as room got very stuffy and hot during the night. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Me and my wife and 2 grandchildren stayed in the house it was clean and looked good the only problem was there was no sponges or dish cloths to wash dishes but we enjoyed our stay

Had to leave the key for the room in the door, as the main building was locked up when I left. Not a big drama though

Walk from your room straight in to the pub.

stay was just what needed, nice comfy room, easy access to and from area needed to get back to. Food well cooked, this not my first stay here

Clean enough for us but not hotel standard. Small room so the slanted roof did make getting in bed slightly difficult. Towels, bedding, shampoo, shower gel and tea/coffee supplied. Staff were friendly. It is quiet loud in the evening with people outside and with traffic in the morning. They do not do breakfast despite it stating that they do on their website, inconvenient but we found a diner nearby. Large car park but was very full, we had to park elsewhere until pub was almost closing.
