The Stables

Great that it was pet friendly, lovely seeing the horses everyday out the stable door. Only main criticism was there's only one small basic TV in the living room which made keeping 2 kids occupied difficult. It also got very hot, the hosts kindly provided a fan but it wasn't very good.

The Accomodation has all amenities and comfort including large bath and the nice touch of a DVD collection. Kitchen has all you need. But it is completely blind (there are windows but you need to keep blinds down so it’s dark!) which the listing avoided showing with great success. We were imagining a small stable with an open space or a bit of a view but even the back mini courtyard is completely fenced off and the windows give onto a passageway. The stable is actually two accommodations so neighbours are super close then outside the front door is a functioning stable which is lovely but leaves no place to wander. The village and the area are outstanding. If you are going to be mostly out this Accomodation is functional and pleasant but pretty enclosed therefore the low star rating. Bedding was a low point.
