This hotel is very convenient for those travelling by train although car parking is well catered for. I received a asrm welcome and found my room to be clean airy and comfortable. Breakfast can be ordered the day before ensuring a more reasonable cost.
The evening bar was pleasantly welcoming with a god choice of light meals avaliable.
I have given a 'good ' for maintenance because during my stay one lift was undergoing maintenance.
An added bonus is, like everywhere in Worcester, the cry and wail of seabirds. It is easy to imagine not being on holiday in Worcester but in bracing Torquay.

Perfect hotel to stay at. Location right opposite Foregate Street stn, short walk to everywhere I needed to be.
Staff extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

The entrance to the hotel was lovely and staff very welcoming and helpful. It was good that you needed a room key to call a lift as it felt secure.
Pool was nice but a bit tatty , old surroundings
Room on 3rd floor was UNCOMFORTABLY hot with no air con ...just a small desk fan .
We hardly slept due to it being too hot and stayed out of the hotel as much as possible which was not great as we were there for a sports competition and needed to rest.
Food and room service not available Friday, Saturday and Sunday....WHAT???????

Perfect for our night out at The Marrs Bar, just a 5 min walk.

Not a friendly welcome at all! Hotels in need of some TLC, rooms way too warm but you can’t control the heat individually & opening a window meant being kept awake all night by the busy street below, even had police outside until early hours, just not a great location to stay & hotel is old & sad with miserable staff!

I have stayed many times at this property. The front desk staff are always a bonus as they always have a smile and welcoming attitude. Also, the breakfast at the hotel continues to please with the amount of selections and piping hot. However, the hotel advertises free self parking and until this current stay that was the case. Unfortunately, they have changed their process and parking was managed by a third party. Not only was it not free, it was on the expensive side of other parking lots in the area. I would suggest returning to free parking for guest because it was a major factor in choosing this hotel in the area.

Probably best to avoid this old and worn out hotel.
Poorly maintained.
Holes in the carpet.
Shower curtain had holes.
Mattresses are lumpy.
Received fine for parking in their car park and they were unable to do anything. Even though the parking was included in the stay.

We had a room on the front of the hotel this time. We found it very noisy on the Sunday night as a homeless person was having an argument with someone on a bike. It went on for ages and I did hear Police sirens but it continued later.
