This is a small hotel with classic charm in a great location for walking or the metro. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They all spoke English, which was a bonus. On the corner there is an amazing patisserie. There is an adequate complimentary breakfast at the hotel but skip it for the neighborhood spots.

Good location in the buzzing Marais area. Tons of shops and cafés nearby. Lovely to walk everywhere. Metro very close by too. We he the premier room which was large by Paris standards. Room had all mod cons. Breakfast was adequate. Breads, eggs etc. Some fruit apart from banana would be nice. Staff were efficient not particularly friendly. There’s a supermarket just around the corner.

Personnels courtois.Hôtel très agréable et propre.Situé dans le Marais.Déjeuner correct.Notre chambre était très propre et calme mais la disposition était contraignante.Pas d’endroit dans la chambre pour s’asseoir et ou manger.Pourtant ont nous a mentionné être surclassé.Matelas un peu dur. Belle douche et beau bain . Je recommande cette hôtel pour un petit séjour à Paris .

Hotel Gabriel is a lovely boutique hotel; clean and very comfortable room; we loved our room with balcony. Nice location within walking distance of Le Marais, l'Arsenale, Bastille market. We could not figure out how to work the tv in our room, but in all fairness, we did not ask the staff for help (and who really needs tv in Paris :-)). This was our second stay, and we look forward to staying again.

Wonderful welcome from friendly staff, clean, large & comfortable beds, nice clean large bathroom. Staff was also very helpful with suggestions for Paris. Good location and near Metro & RER Train stations. I can highly recommend and will definitely stay here on our next trip to Paris

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. As an American visiting Paris for the first time, I found the staff to be patient with my very limited ability to speak French as well as friendly. The Continental breakfast was lovely and the location is excellent. It is close to the metro and to the bus. There are many dining options as well. I’d definitely stay again!

We booked the Prestige Room after seeing enticing photos on Expedia that clearly showed a private balcony—one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we discovered that our room had no balcony, despite what was advertised. After raising the issue with the front desk, we were offered a smaller room that did include a balcony, but it was a downgrade in size and amenities. To make matters worse, there was a room that matched the original description, but its door was broken and deemed unusable. We were left with no choice but to accept the smaller room. Throughout this frustrating experience, no compensation was offered for the downgrade or the inconvenience. I would caution future guests to double-check room details and not rely solely on the photos provided online.

Muy serviciales todo el personal, siempre saludando y preguntando tu estadía. Lo único que fue tal vez molesto para algunos, la construcción de a lado, pero si ven el lado positivo te levantan temprano y no es todo el día, además si sales todo el día, cuando regresas ya terminaron temprano. La ubicación del hotel es segura y tranquila, cerca de restaurantes/bares y sobre todo de la estación "Plaza de la República" que te lleva a muchos lados.

What an incredible hotel. Everything was wonderful. The chic French setting and design. Room size is ‘cosy’ but that’s to be expected in the traditional building. Everything was super clean, very comfortable bed. Excellent shower. Fantastic free breakfast with lots of choice. Extremely friendly & helpful staff. Super location in the Marais with all its great small boutiques and stylish independent shops. When I’m next in Paris I’ll be back!
