The building and the grounds were beautiful. The decor was for us very old fashioned. A matter of opinion I’m sure and probably very French but the old pictures and stuffed animals were slightly too much. Having said that the restaurant was lovely as was the breakfast. We arrived very late and a very kind gentleman, stayed on to check us in. I’m sure in the summer months when the sun is shining and the pool is open it would be even more beautiful.

Beautiful hotel in an out of the way setting. Superb vistas from the gardens.
The hub of the hotel is the restaurant where the staff seem to focus. Trying to get a drink whilst sitting in the garden is a but hit and miss.
Very disappointing that the hotel does not appear to keep in reserve a few restaurant tables for guests. We had to eat out.

We stayed in the separate accommodations near the pond. Quite unique and beautiful. Staff was great, the grounds are beautiful, and the dinner was among the best we had in France. Staff was delightful. Would definitely go back.
