Les Canisses

Der var heldigvis en elektrisk varmeovn som vi måtte benytte os af på værelset. Morgenmaden var god. Kroen ligger smukt ned til Floden Seinen. Vi var bekymret for støj fra togene. Jernbanen ligger meget tæt på, men det var acceptabelt.

The hotel is a bit dated but still comfortable. The access is a bit confusing, over a level crossing (you have call up an attendant) or a very narrow tunnel. Room on the first floor, no lift. Very good restaurant with excellent food. OK breakfast. Not the best value for money.

C'est toujours un plaisir de revenir dans cet établissement niché en bord de Seine dans un cadre fleuri et calme: un personnel souriant , une belle chambre en rez-de-chaussée très confortable avec un plateau de courtoisie à disposition .Le petit déjeuner très satisfaisant se décline en version salée ou sucrée . Il ne faut pas hésiter à dîner sur place : cuisine gourmande , produits de qualité, ambiance feutrée . On se sent tellement bien aux Canisses qu'on en part toujours avec nostalgie et l'envie d' y revenir .

Staff were not fluent in English, but we were able to figure out enough to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast not good for vegans.

A proximité d'un passage de train, ma chambre était bruyante. J'ai été réveillée à 5h au premier passage de train La douche etait bouchée et l’eau s’accumulait au bout de quelques minutes. Pour éviter l’inondation j’ai dû réduire au minimum le débit de la douche et faire de longues pauses… j’ai soulevé la bonde de douche qui était dans état inacceptable. J’ai compris l’origine de l’odeur qui se dégageait de la salle de bain… Enfin, la présence d’une seule serviette de bain et d’un simple tapis de douche n’a pas permis de gérer cette situation confortablement. Aussi, la climatisation ne fonctionne pas (ou semble être verrouillée), et la seule ouverture est la porte fenêtre que nous ne pouvons donc pas laisser ouverte. La température était difficilement supportable. Je n'ai pas pu apprécier mon séjour.

Très beau logis situé en bord de Seine où il fait bon vivre le temps d'une halte. Je recommande fortement ce lieu

Arrivée très tardive sans soucis, chambre propre et bien agencée. Petit déjeuner très bon.

Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel. Le rapport qualité-prix des chambres est satisfaisant. La localisation est particulièrement agréable, dans un cadre serein à proximité de la Seine avec une vue magnifique. La chambre était propre et bien équipée, notamment avec une bouilloire appréciable et les bouteilles d'eau. Le petit déjeuner est correct et offre un bon choix. Le restaurant est délicieux et mérite vraiment le détour. Enfin, le service, aussi bien à la réception qu’au restaurant, est au top : accueillant, professionnel et attentif.

J'ai apprécié l'accueil et la gentillesse du personnel très à l'écoute et attentif. Le lieu est magique.

L’endroit est très joli en bord de Seine, les chambres correctes, le petit déjeuner excellent même s’il faut soi même ouvrir les emballages pour se servir en cochonnailles ou gâteaux. Un gros problème néanmoins: la sécurité. Lors de notre séjour plusieurs véhicules garés devant l’hôtel ont été dégradés.

Una struttura molto bella, personale gentilissimo, ottimo ristorante. Scelta ottima per visitare Giverny.

Such a great spot! Beautiful views, quiet area despite the train that passed directly behind the hotel. We barely heard it. We had a triple which was actually two rooms. Very comfortable beds, spacious rooms and nice bathroom. Dinner in the restaurant t was delicious. The best pork I’ve ever had. Nice bar patio area. Would definitely recommend d this property.

Lovely boutique hotel on the river. A little hard to find especially as I arrived after midnight. However they waited up and showed us to our rooms. Excellent breakfast also.

Eine schöne Unterkunft direkt an der Seine. Man kann hier einen schönen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt planen und sich die Umgebung ansehen. Ein sehr gutes Frühstück und auch das Abendessen ist hier hervorragend. Einzig an Wochenenden kann das Restaurant sehr voll werden. Abends sind die meisten weg und dann ist es dort herrlich ruhig. Allein die Anfahrt über die Bahnstrecke ist schon ein Erlebnis. Klare Empfhehlung.

A lovely place with caveats - it is on the shore of a Seine canal - whatever gave me the impression (now I am not sure if it was a picture or in the hotel description) of a beach, was wrong. Also "free parking" offered to be taken literally or technically - it is street parking on the side of the canal; not guaranteed but seemingly hotel confident it can accomodate all guests with vehicles. we arrived late in the evening and due to the seemingly very popular restaurant on site there was zero parking; nor was there any hotel worker to give you a hint as to how to proceed - making a u turn in that narrow road with the back to the Seine was kind of a thrill but the car was a rental... In the end we were able to find a spot while one of us went inside the hotel to ask for help/info. Nobody in the reception desk. Entered the restaurant which was packed and looked very upscale, everyone was focused in working the floor, so it is run jointly by same people. After the check in we were told no other food options in the area other than Burger kig and such, so decided to eat there. We were literally the last guests in the restaurant and the chef disappeared for a while leaving our main course get cold - portions were generous if not huge and esthetically well presented but taste was mediocre, but by the time everything came to the table we had lost all appetite anyway. Breakfast was mediocreThe next morning upon checkout we noticed they had not even charged us for the 100 euro dinner!

Beautiful property, as was rooms. Dinner fantastic. Would stay again
