Das Zimmer war gross, ansprechend eingerichtet und in gutem Zustand; sehr angenehm. (Im Bad könnte man sich bei Gelegenheit mal um die Fugen kümmern, aber nichts Weltbewegendes.)
Das Frühstück ist hervorragend.
Personal habe ich gar keines gesehen, da ich zu Reception-losen Zeiten an- und abgereist bin.

Brilliant, and unfortunately due to travel I was an hour late for check-in… the wonderful lady at reception waited to check me in… great breakfast - really good, and the room was fab. Easy into town on the tram. Perfect.

Gute Unterkunft mit freundlichem Personal, Wünsche werden erfüllt, wenn möglich! Frühstück ausgesprochen gut - selbst der Kaffee (viele Varianten) schmeckt sehr gut!! EMPFEHLENSWERT! Wir kommer sehr gern wieder!

Zimmer sind vermutlich gerade in der Überholung - zumindest sind die Kabel der Klimaanlage noch zu sehen. Insgesamt wirken die Möbel jedoch eher "abgewohnt", gleiches gilt auch für die Teppiche im Flur die an diversen Stellen mit schwarzen Tape geflickt wurden. Das Haus als solches ist leider sehr hellhörig. Alles war jedoch sauber.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.
Frühstück ist eher durchwachsen die Auswahl ist zwar wirklich groß und es gibt Milchalternativen, aber zum Teil hatten die Sachen wie z.B. Tomate mozzarella einen "Kühlschrankgeschmack" angenommen.

Only light in the room was from desk lamp, floor lamp and bedside lamps. Even with all lamps on, the room was just dimly lit. No dresser for clothes, just a deep, dark cubby cabinet with 1 shelf. Easier to "live" out of our suitcases the 4 nts we were there than have to bend over, searching cabinet with a flashlight for clothes to wear. Breakfast was ok. No traditional German Brötchen. There were some small "voll korn" rolls which were nice, but otherwise just mini kaiser rolls and rolls COVERED in poppy seeds and sesame seeds. By end of breakfast each morning those were the only rolls left. Obviously not a popular item. Suggest they nix those overly seeded rolls for some traditional brötchen. Also no elevator to the ground floor, so had to carry suitcases up/down flight of stairs. Not handicap friendly. Overall rating would be a 3.8.

Ich war beruflich für eine Übernachtung im rugs. Problem bei mir war, das die Toilettenspülung defekt war…Ich bekam zwar ein anderes Zimmer aber sowas ist ärgerlich und bleibt im Kopf.
Das Hotel ist zwar lt. Deutscher Hotelklassifizierung mit 4 Sternen bewertet worden, persönlich hätte ich 3 gesagt, da ich viele Hotels in Köln besucht habe und vergleichen kann. Parkmöglichkeiten muss man in der Nähe suchen.
