Amazing experience, the owner and staff are so kind and helpful. Help us arrange the breakfast to meet our tour schedule, provide nice taxi pick up and carry our heavy luggague through the stairs and streets. Location is right near the most popular photo taking spot.

Was staying in 1864 captain house for two nights. The bed is clean and comfortable, the decoration is classy and elegant. The woner is friendly, and easy going. Very fantastic living experience for first time santorini visitor.

Perfect location coz it locates right below the Oia main street (about 20 steps only from the main street and not a challenge to people with knee problem like us) and all majoy signature views in Santorini are within walking distance. Takis, the manager, is supper nice. He gave us the room before 9 am when we arrived Santorini by early flight and offered late check-out to us at 1pm. Free airport pick-up and a pretty donkey helps carry the baggages from car drop-off point to the hotel. All day breakfast is v. yummy and it worths spending an hour or above for enjoying it at the balcony with breathtaking views. Takis came ro the house everyday to see if everything is fine. His suggestions for restaurants and tourist attractions are very reliable. The bed is supper comfy and there is a jacuzzi in our bathroom. Only 1 downside is that there is no shower curtain ao it is unavoidable to wet the floor of bathroom to makes it very slippery. Of course, it will be perfect if the room rate can be lower.

Amazing comfortable bed, excellent breakfast(handmade jam, omelette, with awesome view). Impeccable service, emailed to ask our arrival time months before and arrange "donkey" to help with our big luggage-welcome to Oia. We are so grateful to have Takis, Dimitra and Loni(?)'s help. It is a right choice to book this historical and beautiful hotel to prepare our wedding in Oia. I hope I will come back one day.

If you get a chance to stay here, it is out of this world. The view is second to none. Even though there are a ton of people around taking photos, your room is completely private and you have an unobstructed view of Santorini. One of the oldest properties in Santorini, the hotel has so much charm, especially its decor. Everything is near you. We even cancelled our dinner reservations because dining on our balcony was even better. The owners were so nice and helped us with our luggage and even stored it for us afterward. Highly recommend if you want to be in the heart of Santorini.

One of the best vacation we had. Santorini is amazing and staying at Sea Captains was the most wise decision we made. Property is beautiful, I think it has the best location on the island. The service, what can I say, First class all the way. Takis and his staff, They pamper us from the time we wake up in the morning with coffee, breakfast in our villa, and he made sure we are taken care through the day with suggestions and setting up places to visit and eat. We will be back and strongly recommend.

Our stay at the the Sea Captain’s house surpassed our expectations. Takis, the manager, has excellent communication before arrival with options for travel to the hotel and offered help with excursions. Takis also arranged for a porter to help with our bags as it is down two sets of stairs from the main pedestrian only paths. Also included was 2 big bottles of water per day. We were provided with one of the best breakfast we have had in a hotel: coffee/tea, orange juice, baked goods, fruit plate, cheese and meat selections, Greek yoghurt, honey, and eggs. We were set for a day of exploring. Takis helped us plan our days. We would stay again and definitely recommend to anyone who wants to live the way people have in Oia for years….away from cars, enjoying a beautiful view. One has to expect so many people in the small walkways of Oia and adjust when you want to take photos. We were able to take the 2 domes photo but we did get up at 6am, fortunately we went back to the hotel and alept before breakfast.

In the heart of Oia just steps outside the door is the most magnificent view and opportunity for fabulous pictures of the iconic Santorini landscape. This is a quaint hotel with an amazing staff. Everything was perfect!

Mr.Takis is a very nice property manager. He arranged all our pickups and drop off to and from hotel.He made sure we had breakfast next day as we had to do an early check out. This property is located in the heart of Oia with amazing views. We got up early to take pictures with the blue dome as it was right next to property and had a peaceful walk on the strip of Oia.

Amazing property with the views everyone wants of Santorini. Highly recommend. Very lovely hosts that can arrange anything you need from transfers to tours, etc. Breakfast was amazing, plentiful and eggs to order!

We have traveled all over and this is the best place we have ever stayed. Beautiful, clean, unbelievable views, and amazing staff. Has to be the best place to stay in the area.
