The staff was so kind and so gracious to us. The rooms were lovely and likely the best view in Nafplion. You could walk everywhere. We had four rooms and 2 babies with us and they accomodated everything. Thank you!

I give Amphitryon Hotel 1 star because of the sea view from our room and it’s location, but our stay was terrible because: 1. Deceitful information on its web-site that said that the hotel, for a fee, offered a shuttle to and from the airport. Called them to ask about this and they gave me an email address to request the shuttle; I sent the email and someone at the hotel told me that they didnt offer this service but they could schedule a private driver on a Mercedes Benz for €210 each way. The web-site also said that there was free parking, so we drove and found that parking was on the street and if we didn’t find parking they would help us find parking. 2. Room conditions. The hotel is outdated and lacks proper maintenance. Our room had a bathtub, so we used it was advertised. We filled the tub, and water with dirt started coming out of the drain on the bathroom floor and a centipede came out of the tub drain. The bathroom flooded, we called reception and they gave us another room; the curtains in the room were also not working properly, they would stay stuck and it was hard to open and close withe the outdated buttons and mechanism used to move them. The 2nd room did the same thing with the bathtub, the curtains were also difficult to manage and the fridge didn’t work. We decided to cut our stay short and found another hotel to stay. I am still waiting for an answer from Expedia and the hotel about a refund for the 2nights we cut short for things out of our control.

Utsikten och läget var värt 5 stjärnor. Hissar och kylskåp som inte fungerade drog ner omdömet rejält. Frukosten var sådär. Väntat mer på fint hotell. Terassen rymlig med härlig utsikt, men i behov av uppdatering. Att byta lakan efter 2 nätter är inte miljövänligt.

Zimmer etwas abgewohnt - schöne Lage - sehr gutes Frühstück

Overpriced. I booked room with a balcony and the property attempted to downgrade me to one without a balcony supposedly presenting it as an upgrade because the room they wanted to put me in had a bathtub instead of a shower. Room was basic at best. Old tacky furniture. I checked out after the first night, and I just gave up the rest of the reservation. There are much better, and quite less expensive places in Nafplio.

No WiFi inside the room !!

The hotel is in an excellent location. The staff were friendly. However we did not have WiFi as we were told they are in the midst of changing a provider. Also with all the fancy switches to control the lights, blinds etc, the bed does not have a headboard. We had no conditioner, shampoo only. Finally we had a city wide electricity outage due to no fault of the hotel. After the electricity came back after one hour or so, the water was muddy for a long time but it was better the next morning.

Great hotel,great food,great view. Friendly staff. Great location We will definitely stay there again.

Staff was great! Parking is not easy No WiFI in rooms

It was a very short walk to the Old Town Central. Really enjoyed the stay, people were very friendly, the staff is very friendly and always willing to help.

A good value in a semi premium class for a resort town sort of setting and surrounding area. Facility has some wear over the decades if you look closely (as many places do), but it proved a solid choice. Well located in old town and still possible to park. Hit and miss nearby (and free), but they also have a remote lot well above on hill with lots of space. Staff was small, consistent and always attentive.

Phantastischer Blick über die Bucht und sehr nettes, hilfsbereites Personal. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und das Zimmer hat fürchterlich nach Mottenpulver gerochen. Pool im Schwesterhotel über viele Treppen, durch einen Tunnel sowie einen Aufzug zu erreichen. Der Pool war nicht besonders sauber und es gab lediglich einen einzigen Sonnenschirm. Sehr schade…

A lovely hotel and very friendly and helpful staff.

This property is NOT a five star hotel. At best maybe a 1 star. Clean but extremely dated and worn out. There’s no internet in the rooms, only the lobby area and a very small room they call the business centre. No parking although they claim there is. The location is great , but all else failed for me and therefore I would not stay here or recommend The staff are very nice and try their best to make you feel welcome but this hotel appears to have been deteriorating for many years.

Wonderful property overlooking the promenade and a great view of the water castle of Bourtzi. Shopping and Tavernas are plentiful and an easy walk. The staff were very friendly, and requests were responded to promptly. We were only there for 2 days/1 night but would have gladly stayed longer if time allowed. would definitely choose this property again on a return to Nafplio!

Excellent hotel! Staff super friendly and accommodating

This is our 2nd time staying at this property overall very good. Has all the amenities, short walk to square and restaurants. Incredible water views. Staff are friendly and courteous and helpful. Would definitely recommend this property and we will be back.
