It's a dated resort but it's well managed by staff who's friendly and tries to live up to its reputation. I hope they had more facilities for pet owners who like us travel light. Beautiful location, great beach, great food, clean, friendly, would definitely come back!

We had an absolute blast at this resort — everything about it was amazing! What stood out most for us was how family-friendly it was. Each restaurant had something for the kids to do, and it was never frowned upon to have them run around — quite the opposite. The staff was incredible with our children and made us feel so welcome. We’re all the way from Canada and would absolutely come back. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

Otroligt trevligt ställe omedelbart vid havet, spännande design med mysig, byliknande miljö. Maten på restaurangerna är helt ok och det finns en mindre matbutik för den som vill ha självhushåll. Ett stort plus för den vänliga och tillmötesgående personalen. Ett hotell man gärna återvänder till!

Nice, welcoming and friendly staff. Great beaches - was nice to have 2 options. Great pools. Well located. Room was a bit dated, but bathroom was new and nice. Nice option for families. Would recommend!

Struttura molto accogliente e ben tenuta, colazione molto buona e personale molto disponibile (Manos, Kostantinos e Johanna fantastici!!!). Spiaggia e mare bellissimi. Alloggi moderni e comodi (doccia stupenda) Struttura con molti bambini piccoli, quindi non bisogna lamentarsi se c'è qualche pianto o qualche rumore durante il giorno o la notte, tutto nella norma!

This is like a childrens resort, young children everywhere. Should make an adults area for people that want to sleep past 7:30am Room was ok. Not worth the price. Had to pay an extrat €10 a day at checkout for “climate something”

Het terrein en de services is goed. Het appartement zelf is wel aan vernieuwing toe. Wel een mooie nieuwe badkamer. De inventaris van de keuken was ook beperkt. Er was bijvoorbeeld geen schaar, wasrek of salade schaal aanwezig.

We found the accommodation to be overrated, the complex is of a Greek 4 star standard and is not well maintained. The buffet restaurant is designed for mass tourism and accordingly. Sunbeds were already reserved with towels by guests at 8am, so that we didn't get a free sunbed after breakfast (during the high season in August). We stayed at Candia Park for the last 3 nights of a delightful vacation in Crete where we sampled 4 different hotels. We had great expectations for Candia based on its appointment as a 4-star resort (and high cost) and the photos on Expedia. We were very disappointed and felt totally overcharged spending so much on a basic room with no amenities. The location is lovely and the grounds are nicely laid but the studio itself was outdated, extremely bare bones, and dark and musty with a patio facing another building. The bathroom had mildew that smelled so strong that we had to keep the windows open. Pictures on the website are totally misleading. Candia was also unwelcoming. At check in, the front desk politely sent us to our room with an emailed PDF to explain the grounds of the resort and what was available, leaving us confused about access to the beach. Very impersonal. We were given three very hard pillows for our three guests, nothing extra in any part of the room. No amenities at all. We did not eat at the resort. but it would have been impossible to cook in the little kitchen given the impractical utensils in the room (a ladle, a big fork and a bread knife). Such a contrast to the less expensive hotels we stayed at in Crete which, even when simple, were warm and had so many thoughtful personal touches.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden hier jederzeit wieder unsere Ferien verbringen. Eine wunderbare Hotelanlage im Stil eines Dorfes mit einer schönen und grossen Poolanlage, einem gleich darunter gelegenem privatem und bezauberndem Strandabschnitt und äusserst freundlichem Personal. Auch die Zimmer waren sehr schön, sauber und gut eingerichtet.

Magnifique séjour. Nourriture variée et excellente. Un peu loin de tout sans voiture mais l'option taxi nous a convenu. Grand complexe hôtelier au charme crétois fait de petites maisons de village. Malgré cela nous avons toujours trouvé de la place autour de la piscine ou à la plage privée qui est splendide (sable). Une autre plage privée non surveillée (cailloux) est également disponible avec plus de vagues et de courant. La suite front de mer est de tout confort et l'agencement moderne et récent est splendide.
