On the plus side: magnificent pool, the rooms are quiet and equipped with a kitchenette, which is quite useful. The room was clean when we arrived. What badly altered our experience was the way a rare incident was handled by the owner. There was an overflow of wastewater in our room. The man who was supposed to empty the wastewater tank had apparently too much work and hadn't been able to come. The smell was horrendous and the maids quickly came to clean the mess as much as possible until the man who was supposed to empty the tank arrived, and after he would have left. We asked if we could perhaps have a different room for the rest of our stay but we were told that the hotel was fully booked. As a compensation, the owner's mother told us one of our nights wouldn't be charged, and we were satisfied with that arrangement. However, on our last night (past 9pm) when we asked the owner about it, he told us that wouldn't be possible because of the way our booking was made (we had paid in advance on hotels.com) and that the only compensation he could make was to give us a discount at the hotel's restaurant. Since we had already eaten and that we were to leave early the next morning, we couldn't benefit from this offer. We felt like the owner tried to find an excuse to not refund us the 44 euros we had been promised and we were very disappointed with the way he handled that situation; that we were told we would get a compensation, only to be denied it at the last minute.

Highly recommended. Simple, clean accommodations with everything you need. Wonderful staff.

This is the fourth time we have stayed here. Its an fantastic hotel, the staff are really friendly, the food in the attached taverna is excellent with a mix of British and Greek and Cretan dishes and the rooms were cleaned every other day. The only small problem is that for the last two years (2020 and 2021) the pool chlorine level has seemed rather high - it has caused our eyes to sting and tarnished some silver jewellery. However this might just be due to extra hygiene measures due to COVID.

Great stuff, super kitchen, practical room. Not the trendiest design, but very practical and comfy for a family holiday. The stuff goes way beyond your expectations to make you happy. On the backside the location is quite noisy due to the constantly arriving airplanes and additional noise coming from the main road. And a mosquito net for the windows would be definitely an added value. But the advantages most certainly outweigh these problems. And the kitchen is really fantastic. All in all this hotel is great value for the price.

Not that far from airport so you can take the public bus. It has a built in restaurant and a nice pool. Some mosquitoes in the room but nothing outrageous. Restaurant was decently priced and had tradtional greek food. The beach was 3 minutes away. An okay stay for an okay day

Les conditions d'hébergement sont tout à fait correctes. Il reste deux points à améliorer : 1.) Le parking pour voitures est difficile à utiliser avec un accès étroit et un emplacement exigu. 2.) Mauvaise literie : absence de sommier remplacée par une planche en aggloméré et un matelas d'une dureté extrême.

We arrived late on the ferry and needed a place to stay overnight near the port. The room we booked was actually an apartment with a bedroom with a double bed and living area with 2 twin beds. The staff were very friendly. Provided extra towels and linens when she realized there were 3 of us. The beds were quite firm, the bathroom plenty large. We didn't use the kitchen as we left early the next morning. Only downside was a.c. unit was in the bedroom so took a while to cool the whole unit. Great place to stay especially for someplace close to the port or airport.

Camera economy da evitare assolutamente, si tratta di un buco dove in due si ci muove a malapena. Bagno altrettanto piccolo con lavandino minuscolo. Le pareti della camera sono così sottili che si sentono i vicini di camera anche se parlano a bassa voce.

Vi tok taxi fra flyplassen til hotellet og betalte 37 euro(!). Etterpå oppdaget vi at lokalbussen stopper rett utenfor hotellet og koster 2 euro pr pers (ca 20 min). Enkelt og billig å ta lokalbussen (til Malia), den går fra flyplassen (rett v/ taxiholdeplassen) og stoppestedet v/ hotellet heter Kokkini Hani/ nr 5. Gode spisesteder, alle har stort sett samme gode greske menyen og lik pris, og alle retter serveres med pommes fristes hvis du ikke ber om noe annet. Stor flott strand med badevakter og noen steder gratis solsenger (gule parasoller- mulig de tilhører all- inklusive- hotellene men vi ble nå ikke jaget vekk).

Fast Internet Powerful aircon Accomodating staff. Nice garden. Clean spacious rooms however there were some ants in kitchen & few flies/ insects....doesn't put as off... Will still definitely come back "Nostimo" & big portion of food on their Restaurant especially the ideal pizza & fries. Thanks for your hospitality!

Hotel pulito, stanze grandi e confortevoli. A 5 minuti da una spiaggia attrezzata con Bar, ombrelloni e sdraio. Non è situato in una delle zone panoramiche di Creta, ma è comunque ottimo per raggiungere facilmente l'aereoporto senza rinunciare ad una giornata di mare.

Ideal is a great value! The restaurant on site is delicious & Ideal is located right across the street from the beach where you can pay 3 euro & spend the day with chairs & an umbrella sea side. Comfortable for couples or families and staff is super friendly! Would definitely stay here again.

Heerlijk appartement met goed restaurant en kleine bar. Schoon, goed onderhouden, vriendelijk personeel. Goed zwembad, gratis ligstoelen, dichtbij zee. Prima bedden, goede douche, airco, verduisterende gordijnen, ruim balkon. Aanrader.

Very hospitable owners and a terrific restaurant downstairs. This place is a great value for the room.

Greit sted for et par netter, typisk leilighetshotell med det meste du trenger. Fikk et rom med en kjempe balkong med utsikt mot hage og basseng. Hotellet ligger innenfor en restaurant som forøvrig hadde grei mat, parkering på siden av hotellet.

מלון משפחתי עם אווירה שקטה ורגועה. בריכה מקסימה. מגוון שירותים ברחוב בו נמצא כמו מסעדות, סופרמרקט וכו'. קרוב מאוד לחוף הים ואתרים תיירותיים. בעלי המלון נחמדים ומסירי פנים. נהננו מאוד!
