My stay at Kinsterna left me with mixed emotions. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The pool area was beautiful and the breakfast was the highlight - an abundance of choice using fresh and local/their own produce - honey and marmalade were insanely good. Also, really liked that you could explore the grounds, their olive groves and vineyards and meet the lovely farm animals. However, there are a few negatives that have affected our experience. We arrived late due to our late flight - the hotel were informed in advance. Understandably due to our late arrival and it being dark the staff just took us to our room and didn’t offer us a tour of the grounds or a welcome drink. So we went to the reception in the morning but the female receptionist wasn’t overly welcoming and didn’t offer us anything - no information or a guided tour. We even had to ask where the breakfast was served. I expect more welcoming and helpful receptionists at a 5 star hotel, so a very disappointing start to our stay. Secondly we paid for an upgrade to one of the Byzantium rooms. Again this didn’t meet our expectations. I understand this is the historic part of the grounds but the room was very dark and very damp and the furniture felt very basic. There was even a dehumidifier on at all times and you you couldn’t use the cupboards as they smelt damp. Not an experience I was expecting of a 5star hotel. It is a lovely hotel but I wouldn’t say it matches the experience of other 5 star hotels.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The hotel staff was super welcome and very attentive. The hotel is basically a farm that offer free experiences like bread-making and candle-making. We also booked a private beekeeper experience which was the highlight of our trip which was followed by honey tasting with the local beekeeper Mr Kostas who shared his knowledge and love for the bees. The breakfast was excellent and worth visiting as a standalone offering as well. Thank you so much!

Charming boutique hotel—cozy, stylish, and well kept. The staff are genuinely courteous and attentive, offering helpful tips and warm service throughout. Food is excellent (breakfast is a standout), making the on-site dining worth staying in for. Convenient location too: about 15 minutes from the center of Monemvasia, so you’re close to the action but in a quieter spot. Overall, great value for a relaxed, quality stay.

This property was a unique experience of being surrounded by a Traditional Greek Village within a resort. I truly enjoyed my stay, the surroundings and the food was excellent . All sourced from the land around the property very good accommodations with excellent service and the orientation and greeting was exceptional.

Everything was perfect

This is an amazing hotel with splendid facilities, gardens, pools, activities and an elevated but a bit of a distant view of the sea. Very unique indeed, historical and a bit exotic even. You have to drive quite some time to get there but worth it. The staff are super friendly and helpful but sometimes the poolside service took more time. Great breakfast but we felt the dinner was a bit sub par compared to genuine Greek dishes we had at many small tabernas, but the hotels own taberna was great with excellent local music. We liked it a lot and even upgraded and extended our stay.

Kinsterna Hotel is an exceptional establishment that I discovered last year, and I was so impressed that I immediately made a reservation for this year. This luxurious hotel offers a remarkable fine dining experience; the breakfast is incredibly abundant, and their restaurants are truly outstanding. They even cultivate all their vegetables on-site, which adds a unique touch to every meal. Each room boasts its own distinctive decor, and the views of the surrounding landscape are simply breathtaking. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring that you feel welcome throughout your stay. It’s no surprise that the hotel received two Michelin Keys this year. I cannot wait to return!

The best part of our stay in Greece

Séjour très agréable avec un personne au petit soin, même si certains débutent mais c'est le charme et l'hospitalité qui compensent, tout ce que l'on peut avoir pour un bon séjour. Merci à toute l'équipe et ce sera sans conteste un hôtel où séjourner à nouveau

An amazing gem of a hotel in the most incredible part of Greece.

This hotel is a wonderful retreat. It’s very relaxing with beautiful scenery. Close enough to go explore or just hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. The pools are beautiful, the gardens are wonderful. The landscaping is fabulous. We had dinner in the restaurant one night. It was amazing. But nothing compares to the breakfast each morning. I’ve never seen anything like it. The food was absolutely scrumptious. This is a wonderful hotel that I would definitely stay in again.

The hotel was lovely. A good alternative to staying in monemvasia. Beautiful grounds and views. Fabulous rooms but no power plugs near mirrors. Great food and had a wonderful private dining experience for my husbands birthday wonderfully organised by George in experiences

The location, the quality-preserved building, the gardens, the restaurant with the meticulous service and the unique and delicious food, everything is really perfect

The setting and the amenities were fantastic. This was the best resort accommodation I have stayed at.

Staff were ill equipped , poor communcation skills and customer service. They clearlydid not speak good english so lots of requests were lost in translation, even the receptionist appeared not to understand what we were saying. Nice location but would not rate this as being a 6 star resort

Beautiful property with excellent food.

This is an exquisite high quality hotel with excellent rooms and friendly staff. Facilities and activities amazing. We had a wonderfully relaxing time enjoying the swimming pool, wonderful views and first class dining.
