great place, poor wifi, the pool is very nice, the food is good :)

The hotel is nice and the staff accommodating. The location is great as it's close to the nightlife and restaraunts and walking distance to the beach. Zakynthos is a bit basic though and very touristy

Good food, nice location, big, good looking and poor facility room, and poor service. We stayed at the next building, and when we arrived which was early in the afternoon, Wifi was not working. They said that the mechanic would not come before next morning. After all, the wifi signal never came into our room for whole our 4 nights stay. We had to go to the main building for wifi. The drain was clogged, so when I pulled the bathtub plug out after taking a bath, the water came backing up on the floor. It was a disaster. The receptionist didn't explain the hotel system enough. We had a half board plan which we could only booked and we did not know what was included and what was not. In the restaurant, which is a buffet style one, there was a big drink bar with a lot of choice of soft drinks and alcohol, and no one checked anything and there was no sign nor notice, so we thought we have a right for all drinks. But at last night, a staff came to us pouring our drinks to tell that we can have ONLY WATER, which was disappointing and embarrassing. (Actually we enjoyed the drink bar until then, but be careful if you book half board plans, you wouldn't have any soft drinks but water) The receptionist didn't give us any information about how we can get pool towels before we asked. It might be because she was not just helpful or pool use was not included, we don't know. The room was big and nice, but over 200euro per night was too much for this quality of stay.

So I booked everything thru Expedia , when I was checking out , the staff told me I have a remaining balance to pay , and I told him I paid everythimg thru Expedia , pleasee check with them , as I need to go to airport for my next destination as well as the taxi DRIver is waiting outside which they charg by hourly. However the staff wouldn't let us go And he insisted to figure it out before letting us go ( we were making calls to my credit card center and Expedia ) so, at the end left anyways, and we barely made my flight , also the taxi driver charged us for the wait , and I told him to collect from the hotel , orginally the fare was 17 euro when he asked for 30 but I paid him 20 anyways.
