Soravit on Granville

Stayed here 3 weeks ago for a little over a week. The hotel was decent for what it was. I was a little skeptical at first after reading some Expedia reviews, but it honestly wasn’t a bad experience. My partner & I loved the convenience of the location of our stay. It is located right next door to a 24 hour 7-Eleven. Currency exchange, restaurants, malls, & markets were right around the corner. The cleanliness was what I expected based off of other’s reviews. It was ok, there were a couple of stray hairs here & there, but it’s fine. It’s what you expect from every hotel, to be honest. There was one incident where the cleaning crew cleaned our room while we were away even when we had the do not disturb sign on our door, but after checking, nothing was missing, so not a big deal. We also don’t leave anything important behind while we are not around, so I would still advise against leaving any important things at the hotel during your stay. Only downsides were that the couch in our room was very old, worn out, & small, so it wasn’t comfortable & neither were the bed & pillows. Due to that, I did not get the best sleep during our stay, but it wasn’t terrible, so not complaining. Overall, we would stay here again.

Everything was great

I spent 4 nights at Soravit on Granville. It is in a very central part of TST where there are 100s of restaurants in every direction. The bed is small but appropriate for the room. I had internet access the entire time I was at the hotel. The hotel is only a few blocks from many transportation options (main road to access Victoria Harbour, TST station on the MTR, as well as many bus lines) There's a mini fridge and a safe in the room. If you're here during the summer, I recommend purchasing a few bottles of water to keep in the fridge. There was nothing better than returning to cold water after a hot and humid walk through the city.

There are a lot to shop and eat in the area. The room is small, the bathroom is really tiny.

Staff was not helpful. Asked why I needed an extra towel or roll of toilet paper. I asked about famous tourist spots and they said they didn’t know anything. No smiles or greetings

Very short walk to shopping places. Near train station. Very accessible. The staffs are very nice especially the housekeeper.

I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and convenient this hotel is. Close walking distance to the train line, 4 shopping centers and restaurants serving all sorts of affordable meals. There's also a 7 Eleven just outside for all your basic needs like snacks, water and toiletries. On the downside, there is a bit of construction on an adjacent property and though the noise wasn't audible from my room, taxi pickup and drop-off wasn't so easy with all the trucks on the road when I had suitcases. The room was smaller than I expected. I would recommend a larger room if you have 2 large suitcases or more. The rooms are advertised as soundproof, but I could hear people in the hallway and even guests taking in the adjacent room. Not a problem really except for the slamming of the heavy locks and doors. There was no noise from traffic. Lastly the amenities seemed a bit lacking. I had a kettle and some drinking water, but no tea or coffee which is quite standard for most hotels. No other utensils were provided other than coffee mugs and glasses. I would definitely book again, but probably upgrade my room for my next visit.

Well located property to F&B, shopping, MTR ( just 8-10 min away).......... good air-conditioning, water pressure in showers

Second time I stayed here. Any problems are always resoved quickly. Make sure you alwa6s get thr 18sm room as the smaller one is usrlrss.

Nice staff easy check in. Rooms and hotel in general need a refurb, curtains dirty cleaning not great, rooms smell of smoke. Tv not connected to internet Good location

Nice staff also maids. The hotel is near MTR Station and shopping areas. Have a convenient store next to the hotel.

The room could use a deep clean. Lots of dust. The pillow had mold on it, which was discovered when I took off the pillowcase to adjust the pillow. Just black mold stains on pillow. Gross.

Very convenient location. Good for couple to stay. Dont expect too much services or compare with hotel. A clean and comfortable room are good enough.

Bed was big and really comfortable!! Nice shower, limited space to open big suitcase, good location for tst area!

i was surprised how nice the room are, it may be small but it is enough for travellers to stay, especially most of the time you are going to stay longer outside. stuffs were great and very accomodating.
