check in is smooth and fast the room is big and the bath water is hot enough although the room decoration is not new, it is clean and comfortable

早餐很好吃！雖然我們打住宿電話一直打不進去，但是服務生很好，還借我們超大的廚房煮晚餐，房間乾淨整潔可以開兩個大行李箱！設備也很齊全，吹風機/熱水壺/盥洗用品都有，是我們住冰島最棒的一間！可惜我們抵達時天氣不好，不然聽說這間有機會看極光，下次來還會選擇這間入住

Interior is much more attractive than exterior. Outlook is not good but the room is large and comfortable. Restaurant is good especially when it is difficult to find place to dine at nearby area. Very close to Dyrhólaey.

This is a kind of hostel in the countryside for those who make a one-night stop over before further going. Rooms look pretty old, very simply equipped. Hotel is located about 10 minutes drive from Vik town.

Great for seeing northern lights

Second stay at this hotel, room even better than last time actually had space to open both cases at the same time without using the bed, also had 2 armchairs & tv worked great breakfast staff pleasant and attentive

All aspects of stay were good, only thing negative was that arm chair was blocking fire exit if there had been a manned reception I would have pointed it out. As it was I made a mental note in case it was required.

Clean hotel and breakfast was good quality, above expectations.

The property was nice and the included breakfast was very nice, including the staff. This location requires a short drive to everything; nothing is walkable from this location.

The hotel receives three and a half stars out of five but we found thst over generous. It claims a 24/7 reception but there was no one in reception when we arrived. Our room number and access code were written on a folded (and sealed) piece of paper. The rooms are in a seperate block with a vending machine and microwave just jnside the entrance. Not what we were expecting for 3.5 stars. The carpet in the hallway is quite old and there are stairs down to the last few rooms, making it a little difficult to navigate with heavy roller cases. The room was clean but very basic. Their was a message apologizing that the TV had no connection and saying that the hotel was waiting for a service person to fix the problem. This was in October. We looked at other reviews from June that talked of the same problem! The wifi did work well tho', so we watched "TV" on our laptop. Some of the 5 star reviews were given because of excellent restaurant food. That seems to be based on recommendations to a local restaurant. The hotel does not serve diner. Breakfast was good, with lots of fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, and hot food etc. The breakfast staff were very helpful.

I felt safe and comfortable here

Great breakfast, the location is near the route but far enough to be quite. Big room with great windows and view. I was able to see northern lights from the room.

The staff, location, and property were very well kept and easy to find. The proximity to the lower portion of Iceland and the village of Vík and attractions made it very desirable.

Llegar de noche y no tener donde comer a pesar de tener restaurante y estaba cerrado es imperdonable. Túvimos que recorrer 17 kms. para encontrar algo. Lamentable. Para.no volver jamas.
