This is the second time we have venture to Semarang to stay at the Jogolo's and we again loved the authentic experience of staying at this lovely place. The accommodation are Jogolo's, that have been relocated from all over Indonesia (for preservation) to this ideal setting within manicured gardens that have been painstakingly established and are ideal to spend hours walking around and exploring all the local fauna. Highlights include rice paddy fields, fishponds, bird averies and a museum that has local antiquities of historical importance. We enjoyed the food the company and will return to this hidden gem!

Actually unik experience awhile stay di sini banyak bangunan Joglo antik tapi kurang terawat, kolam renang kurang terawat. Sedih sih hotel teruniq tapi kurang terawat aja.

We arrived at 7:30pm to find that they did not expect us and our room was not prepared. We were 8 people and after waiting around for a while we asked what was happening. The man at the desk said he was waiting to hear back from his friend about confirming our reservation and to make up the room. We asked to see the room in the meantime so we could configure our sleeping arrangements. The villa had cockroaches, frogs and was dusty as a volcano top. They tried to offer us a different villa which slept less people but wasn't big enough. We left on the basis that they agreed to refund through online agent, however lied about what happened and have essentially stolen my money. Online agent haven't helped. One word against another. About as bad as it gets.

Untuk umum mungkin terkesan tua dan dingin, buat kami yang suka suasana desa, ini antik dan unik. Malam kami dengar senandung kodok, pagi dipanggil burung berkicau dan rintik merdu hujan. Joglo 4 tempat kami menginap dipenuhi buku-buku lama dan berharap bisa tinggal sebulan di sini untuk membaca semua. Tea time sambil berleha-leha amat sangat menyenangkan. Sebagai pengagum rumah tua ala joglo, stay di villa ini adalah moment dalam liburan kami yang paling berkesan.

Saya menginap di Joglo 4, tempatnya memang asri dan nyaman, hanya saja kasurnya keras banget, per kasur kerasa banget, jadi tidur badan pada sakit. Coba deh ganti kasur yang harusnya perlu diganti, biar costomer yang menginap nyaman tidurnya, sehingga ketika bangun tidur badan tidak sakit-sakit. Terus kamar mandinya kayanya ada saluran listrik yang rusak, karena keran airnya pas dipegang ada setrumnya ini bahaya untuk keselamatan. Tolong diperhatikan ya supaya ccostumer nyaman menginapnya. Terima kasih.

Suasana bagus menyatu dengan alam tenang asri, kecewa dengan kamar joglo, Berasa tidur di kamar mandi wc dan tempat mandi cuma disekat dengan kain tempat tidur untuk 2 orang kecil harga segitu tidak sesuai dengan yang didapat.

Villa yg telah kami booking ternyata sudah ada yg mengisi. Sangat mengecewakan walaupun baru pertama kali Traveloka seperti itu terhadap pesanan kami. Sebelum2nya tdk pernah terjadi seperti itu. Tolong evaluasi terhadap kerjasama dan koordinasi dengan manajemen Hill Joglo Villa karena di hari yg sama ada 2 org sebelum saya yg mengalami hal sama (info petugas jaga).

Great rooms here in the Joglos allowed me to relax to the fullest. My eyes were kept busy and very satisfied with the numerous details and artworks that enable this complex of beautiful villas to carry such a peaceful atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this to anybody who appreciates uniqueness and friendly authenticity when looking for a place to stay for any number of nights. 👍🤠

(-) tidak ada selimut, perlengkapan toiletries kurang lengkap (villa untuk 8 orang tapi perlengkapan hanya untuk 2 org), keset kurang, Lantai kamar mandi rembes-masih bisa ditolerir.

Hotelnya keren banget, dapat banget suasana ethnic villagenya. Setiap area ditata apik dan sangat memanjakan mata. Staffnya pun sangat ramah, I have nothing to komplain. Kami menggunakan Google maps untuk menemukan lokasi hotelnya diawal, dan diarahkan melewati jalan hutan yang sangat gelap dan sepi, apalagi di waktu malam. Jadi ada baiknya mempelajari jalur yang enak untuk mencapai hotel, karena ada jalur lain yang lebih enak. Definitely recommend hotel. Thank you Hills Joglo Villa!
