This is my second stay here. As an architect, I truly admire how the space is being humbly designed. The owner was also very friendly! Our room was always clean every time we came back and obviously what deserves 5 stars is the ambiance! Will definitely come back again.

Walaupun tidak dipusat kota tapi lokasinya tidak jauh kemana mana, sekitar guesthouse juga banyak tempat makan yang bagus.
Ke cinema bakery bisa ditempuh kurang lebih 10 menit dengan berjalan kaki.

Lokasi Komoreya di pinggir jalan, cukup mudah ditemukan. Nyaman (vibes nya seperti main ke rumah temen), adem , cukup tenang. Duduk2 ngopi di area 'living room' menyenangkan.
Tersedia dispenser di area living room (kopi,teh,tersedia). Ada dapur kecil yg bisa digunakan.
Saya tertarik dengan bentuk bangunan Komoreya. Desainnya minimalis, simpel menggunakan material natural (bambu,jati)
Saat check in bertemu dengan ownernya (mas Mojo) sempat ngobrol2 mengenai bangunan.

Tempatnya gampang dicari walau ga ada papan namanya, karena berasa udah Arab dari fotofoto yang dilihat dari reviews. Staff helpful dan ramah, kamar nyaman luas wangi. Homey banget, surrounding-nya juga super comfy. Pasti bakalan jadi pertimbangan si kalo nginep di Jogja lagi.

Nyaman, bersih, dan homey sekali juga dekat akses ke Kaliurang dan kota. Hanya memang kamar tidak terlalu kedap suara sehingga suara TV kamar sebelah sedikit terdengar.

Absolutely beautiful accommodations, the place is a bit far from the city center, but if you travel via car or bike, then it shouldn't be a problem. The rooms were very tidy, cleaned every day, and everything was changed when asked (towels, etc.). If you are a fan of interesting architecture, then this should be your number 1, which isn't surprising since the owner himself is an architect and designed the whole building. The only minus, and I think for some it may be a big issue, was the noise from the street and little to no soundproof walls. The TV playing in the room next to us sounded as if it were in ours.
