First the reception is not aware that we are coming, so they confuse. Our room is not prepare yet (after a long day driving from Denpasar). After they prepare our room, the front desk told me, to room rates is 550,000 IDR/night and I told them I already booked through app and they confuse about it. For me as a local tourist (not bule/gaijin/gringo) it seems to them that I cannot pay the room, jeez!! The room is quite nice, bed is soft and its peacefully ambience, but too bad the bathroom is full with the small ants... many many small ants! It will be better if the owner provide the room with the small garbage bin in the room or in the terrace. Because the garbage bin is too small in the bathroom. In the morning the staff told me if we want to go snorkeling, it will be better if we go with the Hotel Packages, I refuse and then they make a scary excuse that I will not get the boat for crossing to the menjangan and the packages in the Lalang port will be more expensive compare to the hotel, at this point I hate so much when Hotel keep pushing me to use their service package tour... too bad I got the cheap packages after I met with the National Park Rangers (in the early morning I wake up early and asking the locals in the port regarding the prices for snorkeling), lucky for me I bump into the Park Rangers. During checkout, they make the bill under my name and they told me that they not find my booking under app therefore I need to pay. I refuse and I told them that I already pay through app, after long explanation finally they understand and I send the email and also my Book receipt to the Villa's owner. In conclusion, is too bad the owner is not giving a proper training or explanation to the front desk staff how to deal with this situation, even for me as a local it is difficult to understand what are they saying in Indonesia Language, because they using a lot of nodding... try to be nice to all of your customer (not only foreigners), because its very difference when they greet a foreigners guest compare to the local guest.
