It was a great property. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The grounds were kept very nice. The only upgrade I could suggest is that they clean the beach more thoroughly from seaweed and rocks. But other than that, I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful location with private beach and lovely gardens. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed.
Short walk into the town where there are restaurants and shops.
You can arrange boat trips from the hotel that picks you up in the morning from the hotels own jetty.
We also enjoyed playing Padel and courts had a lovely view of the sea. You could also use paddle boards, kayaks and they had free exercise and yoga sessions outside.
Walking distance to la cinta beach but you’d need a car if you wanted to explore further.
We didn’t want to leave!

Das Amasea Resort in San Teodoro ist eine sehr schöne, gepflegte und saubere Anlage. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und lädt zum Entspannen ein, auch die Zimmer waren in Ordnung und insgesamt war ich mit dem Aufenthalt zufrieden.
Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber eher schlicht und mit begrenzter Auswahl, besonders für Vegetarier. Was mich gestört hat: Der Käse wurde an derselben Maschine geschnitten wie der Schinken, was für Gäste mit bestimmten Ernährungsgewohnheiten einfach unpassend ist. Insgesamt hätte das Frühstück liebevoller und abwechslungsreicher gestaltet sein können.
Ein echter Minuspunkt war der Umgang mit Gästen, die wie ich über Hotels.com gebucht hatten. Man hatte häufig das Gefühl, nur Gast zweiter Klasse zu sein. Im Restaurant waren fast alle Tische drinnen und draußen für Gäste reserviert, die über den Reiseveranstalter Veraclub gebucht hatten. Uns wurde mehrfach gesagt, wo wir nicht sitzen dürfen, teilweise auf ziemlich unhöfliche Art. Die Auswahl an freien Tischen war dann so klein, dass man sich wirklich fehl am Platz gefühlt hat.
Ob ich wiederkommen würde, weiß ich ehrlich gesagt nicht. Die Anlage an sich ist sehr schön, aber der Umgang mit manchen Gästen hat den Gesamteindruck leider getrübt.

We had a really good stay but a couple of things tarnished our holiday. The check in was terrible. Being told we needed to pay, when we had already paid through Hotels.com. Reception wanted to keep our passports with no explanation. Wasn’t given any information about the hotel, meal times etc.
The room was nice, but the A/C would only stay on for 10 minutes at a time.
No place to get drinking water and no bottles of water provided.
Room was clean, but there was no top up of any of the toiletries for a five night stay.
We went out on a half day boat trip. This was good, for the price, but oversold by the rep.
Apart from that we enjoyed our stay and it was nice that the hotel was quiet. I think some of the issues are because it is low season and staff just getting ready for the high season. If this place was fully booked out mind, then I feel it would have been chaotic and very busy with a lot of room units in close proximity.

Heel druk resort met continue muziek en entertainment. Wij verbleven er 3 nachten. Personeel van animatie is heel vriendelijk, restaurant personeel enorm chagrijnig. Ontbijt hele drukkige sfeer met ‘gereserveerde’ buiten tafels. Wij zijn echter gewoon gaan zitten buiten aangezien die tafels leeg bleven. We hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van avondeten daar. Resort is gericht op gezinnen. Kamers zijn netjes en schoon, bed is wel erg hard.
