Franz and Manuela are amazing. They’re friendly and helpful.
The location is perfect! Two doors down from the main palazzo and the main street: Via Nazionale.
If arriving by train, take the small bus to Palazzo Garibaldi. The bigger bus stops further down the mountain at Mercato and it is quite an uphill hike.

The whole room is nice and clean, but with the nice view, the window cannot be opened is really a pity. And there is a smell inside the room. The location is really nice, close to the piazza and many restaurants. Also close to the bus station.

Had a great stay at Hotel Italia. On arrival, flight was delayed and train from Rome delayed but lovely lady on the front desk offered to stay until nearly 9pm so she could check me in which was hugely appreciated after such a busy day travelling!
The room is big and airy, very tidy with a comfortable bed.
Location is perfect being only a 30 second walk from the main Piazza.
Already looking to book our next trip to Cortona and will be staying here again!
