Maison Cly is the only hotel in Chamois. Staff try hard and rooms are all different- some very large (duplex) but others are more modern. Overall rooms are ok. The main points were that we had no real control over our heating which meant I had to ask reception every time I wanted the heating either on or off. The beds had only sheets on them which with two wriggly children is just impractical - but I am aware that the more modern rooms had proper duvets.
Staff tried really hard to accommodate requests (even large last minute restaurant reservations) - they were really lovely. Quality and presentation of food was excellent with a daily changing menu. Breakfast is fairly basic but certainly sufficient. The fresh orange juice machine is an added bonus. We were a large group with lots of children and we didn’t feel out of place - there is a small play room which is great to have.
