崖にあるため部屋までのアクセスが大変ですが、景色は最高で、当日は花火大変もあり、海側に大きな花火を見る事ができ最高に素晴らしい思い出を作ることが出来ました。

The hairdryer needs to be updated. The one in our room was like those found in hotels in the 1960’s.

From the moment we walked in we felt so welcome. The environment was so warm. They even gave us a room upgrade for my husbands 40th birthday. I’d like to especially mention Dario he was beyond amazing from the moment we walked in to hours after we left. He showed us all the best spots to go to on the map with easy directions we didn’t even need googl maps! He took his time to book our ferry tickets and made sure the porters got our luggage’s down safely while communicating with me all through the way. Dario if you’re reading this thank you for all you did for us! You made our positano extra special! Marincanto all in all 10/10!

Sooo romantic, extremely helpful and friendly staff. They solve all your needs and more! Restaurant beautiful, delicious, iconic views! Live music! My wife did millions of pictures… pool!, beach!!! Ahhhhhhh!!!!

From the moment I arrived, the experience was nothing short of incredible. Palo & Dario are the best and made the experience perfect! The staff were some of the friendliest and most thoughtful I’ve ever encountered. They anticipated what I needed before I could even ask, making me feel genuinely cared for every step of the way. Everyone was not only helpful but also so much fun to interact with, bringing an energy and warmth that made the entire stay feel special. The level of service was truly outstanding. Every detail felt intentional, from the way the staff remembered my preferences to the effortless way they handled every request with a smile. It was clear they take great pride in what they do, and it made my experience feel more like a retreat than just a hotel stay. The view was absolutely breathtaking. Whether I was relaxing with a drink or just soaking in the surroundings, the scenery never stopped impressing me. There are several cozy spots throughout the property where you can just sit back, unwind, and enjoy the beauty around you. The location is perfect — close to everything I wanted to explore yet peaceful and private enough to feel like a true escape. This was the worst experience we have ever had at a hotel. From the moment we checked in I could tell the attendant was overwhelmed. Everything looked run down, cushions ripped and damp on the couches. Staff look unfriendly and barely acknowledge us at all. When taken to our room we had to walk through bags of laundry and cleaning supplies that were there the entire time. The room was underwhelming and the bathroom was filthy and falling apart. The pool water was slimy and there staff again didn’t acknowledge us. Waking up the room was infested with ants. The breakfast buffet food was cold and again no acknowledgment from staff. We ended up leaving after night one even though we planned to stay three nights. When I communicated our disappointment with the front desk they only made excuses and refused to refund me for the two nights left when I said we would be leaving because it was that bad. They kept making excuses and absolutely did not practice appropriate customer service in this kind of situation. For close to $1,600 a night everything about this hotel was absurd and I would stay away from booking here. They attempted to offer a room upgrade but that was clear they didn’t understand that it was not just the room that was the issue. I’ve worked in customer service for over 20 years and I cannot believe they refused to refund us in this type of situation. It shows that customer satisfaction is absolutely not a priority nor is righting a wrong.

This hotel is not that nice. Service was good but the facilities were not that nice. Nothing is remodeled. Also the water shut off for a whole day. Was very disappointed with even how they responded or didn’t even prepare for something like this happening on the island.

Excellent location with amazing views. Walkable to everything. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The only thing was the A/C did not work well and my building lost power almost every night off and on. That made it very hot even for the 10 minute off and on issues. Also- there was some mold around the a/c units in the wall. I assume this is common for this area. But- I would stay again!

Speechless! This was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. All the workers are extremely sweet, the room was beautiful, location was perfect. I will definitely come back!

Beautiful and authentic stay experience in Positano.

We booked an ocean view room — a premium experience we were really looking forward to. When we checked in, we were told we were being “upgraded” to a better room. That sounded great… until we got there and realized it had no windows. Not a partial view, not a courtyard — literally a windowless room. We immediately asked to switch back to what we had originally booked and paid for, but were told nothing could be done. No alternative options, no credit, no apology — just a shrug. This felt like a bait-and-switch. The ocean view was a huge part of why we booked this trip. Getting stuck in a dark, closed-off room completely changed the experience.

Gorgeous hotel close to the downtown Positano area. Private beach is a huge bonus. Staff was incredible especially Paolo and delicious breakfast every morning as part of our stay.

Incredible ! Lots of stairs but amazing views , amazing breakfast each morning and an extremely helpful staff !!!!

The best view of Positano buildings. Very beautiful. Has private section where you can walk down stairs to the main beach. You can also use those stairs to get to hotel faster from the main square. On the upper portion you can walk down to a coffee/ pastry spot where they had great Iced coffee and continue on to main square. Total of about 10-15 min walk down
