We arrived early for 3pm check in and were able to stow our bags. We booked a second room for a friend travelling with us and they were right next door. Beautiful graceful 17th century cardinal’s palace, lovingly preserved. Rooms comfortable, we had a window opening on to a courtyard. AC which we switched off at night. Very quiet at night - unlike other places I have stayed where recycling of bottles seems to happen at 2am. Bathroom has bidet as standard (should be standard everywhere!). Fantastic hot and cold breakfast served buffet style with table on the terrace outside. Water, juice and tea/coffee available 24hrly in the lobby.Staff friendly and helpful. Very well situated 5 minute walk from main Modena piazza, 2 minutes from opera house and close to restaurants. 18 minute walk from railway station. Lovely route to green park for jogging behind hotel. Would definitely stay again.

O hotel é bem bonito e histórico. Clássico. Porem esta precisando de manutencao. No meu quarto havia um pouco de cheiro de mofo, carpete sujo e o banheiro nao estava limpo adeuqadamente. O box é horrivel e nao fecha, molhando o chao todo nos obrigando a secar. O ar de respiracao fica a todo momento ligado e isso nao é agradavel.
O cafe da manha é expetacular, deixam umas comidinhas e bebidas disponivel a todo tempo na recepcao para os hospedes e os funcionarios sao mt atenciosos. Fica bem localizado, perto de uma rua com mts bares.

Havde på forhånd fået tilsagn om to seperate dyner, men ved indcheckning var der en stor og det tog et par dage inden problemet var løst.
De to sidste dage var dynerne helt taget væk - uvist af hvilken årsag - lidt noget rod.
Ellers et godt hotel med suveræn morgenmad i skøn gårdhave.

Hotel was old-world nice, in a great location, quiet, and very affordable. Communication from hotel prior to arrival was excellent and the breakfast offered numerous tasty options with helpful staff available. Would definitely recommend to short or long term visitors to Modena.
