We had a wonderful time in this beautiful hotel and it was the best decision to stay 2 nights since there are 5 to 6 onsen places here! And the staff Junna and Ishihara are lovely and attentive to our needs, hotel breakfast and dinner are all tasty and you can enjoy in the room with a great view(the room Hara is recommended), we also borrowed auto-bike from the hotel with a fair price (2 for 500 yen/hour) exploring this small quiet place with bike is a must!

The best hot spring hotel in Japan with well kept century architecture I ever lived. The whole experience is excellent. People are well trained to serve, can remember our shoes/luggage bags without telling them our room no. Though the public hot springs are not big but you can reserve a nice private hot spring for just usd 10! We did not try their dinner, definitely will try next time!

位在修禪寺門口右側，獨鈷之湯旁，修善寺溫泉老街上，上百年歷史的日式飯店，庭園內小橋流水，11月初楓葉尚未紅，但仍處處詩意，聆聽大自然的天籟，令人留連。室內溫泉除公共澡堂外，還有二間家庭溫泉，但最推薦戶外溫泉池，需穿過一段庭園，獨立一區，泡湯時與大自然融為一體。

这次去日本的第一站就是伊豆温泉（除了落地当晚的静冈），我们选择了伊豆中部的修善寺地区，在agoda上按评分和价格排名选择了新井旅馆，其他大概还有2家差不多或更高价位（如柳生庄）的，不过新井是带早晚2餐会席料理的，这部分的价值后来我们评定大约值1万日元（500元RMB）一人一天，也就是1000元左右，这样的话住的部分其实还可以了。
虽然地处乡下，但相比南伊豆之类只能纯靠日语前进的地区，修善寺还算是个旅游景点。新井各方面的服务水准客观的讲是不亚于城市的，体验可以比对台北的三二行馆。
餐饮是一大亮点，这个虽然是包餐性质，但素质经我们后来在名古屋，京都，奈良那种热闹餐厅街吃过的所有5000日元+的会席料理对比，明显制作和味觉都要精致一些，对于有些中国人评论认为东西不多没什么大鱼大肉可吃的，我只能说，没有哪个传统式的高级日本料理是鸡鸭鱼肉满汉全席的，在国内塞一堆自助惯了的人，不会懂小而精，色味兼备，这两点做到极致才是享受。即使在日本，也不是每家看似高级的店都能做到堪称完美的。
温泉也不错，有3个公共汤（推荐其中露天的那个），2个私人汤。所谓私人，就是先到先得，两人进去插上门就是我们的天地了。温泉房外面是池塘，有新鲜空气通入，洗浴用品摆好自助，一应俱全，光各种浴前浴后瓶液就有7，8种，果然酒店房间少点温泉才能洗得爽。大池等于是私人的，弄得我们连房间自带的小温泉池都没用过。
酒店有些历史了，外观看比较旧，但维护的很不错，小桥流水，自然和谐，房间大概14-15坪（30平米），对于和室来说够大了，早晚服务人员会来伺候餐食，收放被褥，初来需要适应下，不过都很亲切礼貌。房间有半包起来的阳台，窗外是某座红色的小桥和竹林小径，晚上可以散散步看看月亮，，还可以到那个著名的河中温泉洗洗脚，一切都很安静。
后面还住了奈良的米卡萨日式温泉旅馆，一样的套头，但各方面明显毛糙一个档次，当然那个价格也稍微低些。新井是下次再去修善寺度假的必选。

The environment was good with lots of plants around the hotel. The room we stayed was facing the river and we could hear the natural sound of water which could help clearing our minds. The meals were delicious. We enjoyed staying in the private onsen which was free of charge. The only inconvenience was that, there was no bathroom inside our room. We must take bath/shower in the onsen area instead.

房間內收拾得很乾淨，是間舒適的老旅館。
雖然我不會說日語，但服務人員都很親切且態度大方。傍河而建的旅館，從房間看出去的景色非常棒，紅橋、各色楓葉搭配綠竹，可說是修善寺最美的景緻。
戶外湯池的景色也是一絕，走道兩旁布滿掉落的紅葉，邊泡湯還能邊賞楓紅，很幸福的感覺。

酒店属于传统的日式风格。酒店内的建筑古典，优雅。在酒店外有一条山溪遄遄流过，山溪两旁都是精雕细琢的小路，园林，配上河上的红桥，充满了美丽的日本风情。小城古朴，传统，安逸，让人心情松弛。酒店的饮食非常美味，服务人员非常热情，对任何客人的疑问都尽心尽力的解决，真的都是可爱的日本人！
