The owner is very enthusiastic about providing home-stay services for guests, in that he greets and bids goodbyes to guests cordially and sincerely. The apartment is well equipped with electrical appliances and kitchenware. Also, the rooms are well renovated and well decorated for guests' languorous and laid-back stay. The old street and museums are just a stone's throw from the apartment and the ambience is beautiful and serene.

Eine tolle Unterkunft, wir waren für eine Nacht in einem kleinen Zimmer, dass absolut ausreichend war. Der Gastgeber war super freundlich und hat uns mit allen wichtigen Informationen, Tipps zum Ort etc gegeben. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

My stay at Stella was amazing. The host, Shuji, was kind enough to make himself available for when I arrived, to make sure the check in process was smooth. The room was spacious and clean. Although men only had one shower to share (there is more than one men’s only toilet), I never waited to use it, nor did I make anyone else. The host was also gracious enough to give recommendations for food and visiting spots around Kanazawa, which I tried and enjoyed greatly. He even called one of my upcoming accommodations to confirm my booking and other details since I had some questions. Location is also excellent, only a few minutes walk from the Higashi Chaya district which is absolutely beautiful, though a small distance from Kanazawa station. Overall, I had a great time in Kanazawa and that was thanks to the guesthouse and the host’s kindness.

Great guesthouse with great service. The owner even upgraded us to a bigger room on our third night when he saw how tight our room was with our two small.kids. He even gave us a ride to the station at the end of our stay. We loved this hostel: comfy bunkbeds, nice kitchen and common room for making meals, clean washrooms and showers..
