Lore Hostel Doutonbori

Very clean and very accessible to shops, train stations, drugstores and food chains. The beds are comfy, there's free breakfast and the hosts are very hospitable. I would definitely stay here again!

Kind staff in purple uniform, helpful too

The location is great, it is in Dotonbori and close to the Glico Man sign. The room was spacious so if you have big suitcase it won't be a problem. It has washing machine but there is no the dryer machine. The old man staff was not friendly.

Worth it! Walking distance to tourist attraction spots.

This was by far the best hostel I’ve tried during my backpacking trip in Kansai. The facilities were good if you compare it to the price. Women only is recommended since the price was the same. They got free laundry, common room for women, and free one towel each. Breakfast was two slices of bread with 3 choices of jam. Hospitality was not their strongest suit, probably because it was so busy. Location was awesome, literally in the middle of Doutonbori. But they were a group of family traveler with me and they were so unsanitary. The staff didn’t help either. Some trash in the bathrooms and washing basins were so gross.

Easy to find, nice hospitality, peaceful, comfortable.

The super clean hostel room, nice , and comfy. The room parfume is refreshing, it is like tea or coffee aroma. The receptionist was beautifull and very welcome. 😊😊

Hostel is in the middle of shopping district. Walking distance to the glico man sign. There are food stalls everywhere. Even it is late night there are still many people in the street because it is in the shopping district and you will not afraid to go out even if it is late night. It is also very near in their metro or subway train stations. Also the hostel is 5-10 mins walk to nankai namba station. Location wise it is very good. There are no unpleasant smell inside the room. But the upper deck of of double deck tend to make some cracking noise sometimes. Also it can get noisy if someone is packing their things inside the room or if some backpackers are talking inside the room. The breakfast is simple: coffee, tea, bread, jam or butter. The bread is soft. For the rooms in the 2nd floor, you have to go to the basement to take a shower. Overall my experience to this hostel is very good. 👍

The hostel have very good location. Staff not speak much english and hard to asking some questions. The room was ok but so loud in the morning. Check out was to early before 10 pm and you don't have the place to have a nap till you checking in to another hostel at 2 pm. Price for the hostel it not to bad for travel in osaka. So can't expects thing much.

Nhân viên không thân thiện, phòng không sạch sẽ, là hostel tệ nhất trong chuyến du lịch bụi 10 ngày của tụi mình. Điểm cộng duy nhất là vị trí gần trung tâm, gần nơi mua sắm và ăn uống.

The location is perfect.Walking distance from famous establishment such as Ichiran, Glico Man, and Don Quixote. Just a comment on the bed design in the lower bunk, hard to get off the bed, no need for safety side board

Very good! Near from everything that I need. Especially my favorite dish in that area: Gyukatsu! Comfortable to stay. Next time will stay in here again.

Tempatnya pas di tengah Doutonbori, sangat strategis. Kebersihan bagus, sayang untuk kamar mandi wanita hanya ada di lantai 1 biar pun dorm dari lantai 1-3. Di luar itu, semuanya oke!

the accommodation was comfy, the breakfast good, and the restroom clean too.
