不過不失，唯一優點係方便步行去東照宮。

距離日光駅步程約廿至三十分鐘，但可以預約酒店安排接駁巴士，非常方便。一泊二食每天不同，不會重覆，不錯的溫泉旅館。

日式房間非常寬敞舒適，榻榻床鋪很舒服，有溫泉可以浸，早餐豐富美味，職員友善而且會英語。旅館跟神橋很近，步行到東照宮也不遠，雖然跟車站有距離但有提供車站到旅館的一程接送，整體來說非常滿意。

Staff are helpful and speak good English. Cleanliness of the onsen and guestroom could be further improved.

*Important* This hotel, unlike other hotel in the cities, do not have private bathroom (not even a bathtub) in your own room, meaning if you go with your family, all of you family members have to take turn to visit the public onseng bath center. The room is small. It makes you sleep on the floor Japanese style but the living room can barely fit in the people we booked for (3 ppl for a 3-pax room in my case). The room has very limited amenities, and for example the soap provided was limited and the water runs extremely slow over the small basin in the room. In addition, we were on a driving trip and that the private car park was always full, meaning we had to park at a secondary car park which is further away (and more inconvenient if you have luggage). The hotel is close to the city center and is right next to "Shinkyu", that's prolly the only perks I can think of.

離車站有些距離，但趕在6點前抵達車站的話，能請飯店幫忙接送。 訂房時選了一泊二食的選項，兩餐都非常豐盛美味 到訪時是冬天有層積雪，從房間窗外看出去十分舒壓～ 房裡沒有浴室，安排至大浴場洗澡。但不清楚是否是房型的關係。

這次臨時訂了星之宿，是一間很有氣氛的溫泉旅館，雖然離車站有段距離，但旅館有接駁車免費接送，下次造訪日光仍會入住。

是很傳統的日式旅館，餐食頗為用心精緻。如果以新鮮感而言，專程體驗日式風情很到位，但以收費價格來說，實在偏高。客房裏有洗漱用的洗手台，洗澡、吹整頭髮只能在它的公眾澡堂，旅客行前最好先有心理準備。飯店設施乾淨，但使用年代較久遠，澡堂庭園維護極佳。整體而言，體驗傳統可嚐試，但沒有再次入住的打算。地理位置離神橋近，並不難找。

The staff were very friendly and the room was beautiful. The onsen facilities were also very good.

Honeymoon stay exceptional!

We were shocked when we were asked to check out at 10am in the morning the next day ! As the day we check in was 5pm! I left my medication in the hotel and they refuse to checked and was advised that nothing was found ! Asking for beauty salon services the receptionist lady unwilling checked and gave us a displeasure look!

Great location - walking distance to the shrines - room 301 spacious with good views

Beautiful location, and great to see all the sights of Nikko. We struggled with the food from a western perspective, very traditional Japanese. But it was all cooked and presented beautifully and there was lots of it! We had the private onsen which was also lovely.

食事はそれぞれがとても美味しくて大満足でした。 スタッフの対応もとても良かったです。

Good: Very close to the World Heritage sites, the famous bridge, a bus stop to the ropeway and waterfalls etc. Not good: the rooms (especially bathrooms) are tired. Some of the staff are terrific; the rest are untrained and/or not given the tools to do an excellent job. Case in point: we had no idea we had to serve ourselves rice (everything else was served to us), and then desert was delivered before our rice course. They also nickle & dime guests for use of a parasol, make you bring your own flimsy towel from your room to the bath, and use bad translations that are off-putting (“if you do X, you will be punished”).

We had a lovely stay here.
