Séjour extraordinaire
Cherchés et ramenés à la gare de Minobu en navette.
A notre arrivée, 2 personnes nous attendaient dans la cour pour nous accueillir et nous mettre le marche-pied pour descendre du véhicule.
Les chaussons de l'entrée, la chambre et notre table pour le dîner et le déjeuner étaient mis à notre nom et personnalisés pour les adultes et les enfants.
Le personnel a été aux petits soins tout au long du séjour ; même dans des 5 étoiles parisiens le service n'est pas à ce niveau.
Des yukatas étaient à notre disposition pour le séjour.
Les onsens sont merveilleux. Les heures d'utilisation pour les hommes et les femmes changent dans la journée, ce qui permet de pouvoir tous les faire.
Les repas étaient très copieux, nous n'avons pas réussi à tout manger. Tout était très bien servi et présenté, c'était très beau et très bon.
La chambre était exceptionnelle.
J'ai même reçu un cadeau pour mon anniversaire ❤️
Tout est magnifique, c'est vraiment un endroit incroyable à faire au moins une fois au japon.
Un grand merci à tout le personnel pour son accueil et le magnifique souvenir que nous gardons de ce séjour

Truly a once in a lifetime experience. We were welcomed and had our car valeted, our bags carried to our room and were shown the property. Every single staff member was friendly and so helpful and made sure our stay was fantastic. They also upgraded us to a larger room with a balcony that was closer to the baths which was wonderful. My husband and I have tattoos which are not allowed in the public baths but we had no issue finding times to use the private baths during our stay. The meals were wonderful, thoughtfully served and added to the entire experience. Will reccomend to everyone going to Japan and wants a completely immersive and peaceful experience of a traditional ryokan stay.

I was really looking forward to this trip to Nishiyama Onsen. The hot water springs were amazing the staff not so accommodating. Lots of bowing and thank yous but no real assistance. We requested soy sauce with our appetizer and they said no and wouldn't bring it. Check in is 3PM and check out is 10 AM. It's a rather expensive undertaking considering that the property is quite remote. I really wanted to stay there because of the history, the oldest continuously inhabited hotel in the world. Sadly I was put in the newer rooms so I didn't really get that experience. They practically kick you out at 10:00AM, I was organizing my luggage and the desk clerk approached me and barked, you have to settle your bill, as if I would try and leave without paying. They weren't even prepared I had to wait while they added up all the charges. I have never been treated so poorly anywhere else in the world.

造りが迷路みたいなので、お風呂などの年配の父母は移動が不安そうでした。

Our 3 Day stay at the onsen was very relaxing. The staff was friendly and informative. The language barrier, though still present, wasn't much of an issue. The staff were quick with their phones to do a translation if needed. We recommend a 2 Day stay and visit the small village of Narada which is a 5 minute bus ride up the mountain. It's a small and quaint little village with engaging museums.
